CUTE - so this is Harry's girl, right?
I think this is one of my fav pieces from you, Kassy. The color, the shading, the girl overall...very very well done. Only c/c I have is that her left hand fingers look shorter than her right and her feet look very teeny tiny. The lines are crisp...I really like this one. :thumbsup
fangirl moment
okay, so it was really more a fangirl-three-hour than a fangirl moment... its ginny weasley. red hair is fun to color. she looks too much like kairi, though. been playing a lot of kingdom hearts the last 30 hours or so.

her hands are stubby over all... i cant help drawing stubby hands.

the rest i did myself. :P

Nice Drawing! :D
But, Horizon Lines don't blur. Also, the broom is not touching the ground but her hand is not really grasping the broom handle. Then again she is a wizard(witch)!. :D Great looking drawing though.

i'd hit it.... 2x
the horizon blur looks good to me. the 'haze' could have such and effect. if not that, the horizon is not in focus so the lines would be blurred parabolicly anyways (assuming the camera taking this picture was made after the discovery and trasition from sphereical to parabolic lenses happened) Good point Keero, her lack of universal consistancy is ruining the picture. He is right though about the hand grip. the center of gravity of that broom would cause a moment in the other direction. If you gave evidence of the broom being tlited about 5+ degrees more in the direction it is already facing then your hand grip criteria would seem more valid. The index finger should be firm and the pinky relaxed.... GOD kassy! I thought you were good... i mean can't you include all physical constants of the universe when sketching. That and its harry potter... i mean you can't get any more real than that. Also I'd like to comment on the stability criteria for that snitch. It wouldn't happen. It would be nearly impossible for it to fly, so why dont you add some stablizing fins or even give evidence of a gyroscopic stabalizer. REALISM Kassy.... realism :-p I wont even get into the powers of the broom... standing aside from levitating, the power generation required inside that thing would be discusting.

oh har har. :P seriously, though, i think the background took about 30 seconds. and that might be rounding up. :P
as for the broom... well, they do levitate. besides... there's a sticking charm on her gloves. yeah... that's it. *nods sagely*
