Hooray for me!
I got a dozen roses, 11 red and one yellow, from my faboo husband for our dating anniversary which was yesterday...13 years :) The down side of course being that being pregnant my nose is ultra sensitive to small and man these are the strongest smelling roses ever! I'm going to start sneezing soon but it's worth it!

Yellow's for friendship. Maybe they were friends first. I can't even remember the last time mike and i celebrated our dating anniversary =( GRATS!!!! so lucky

Let me see if I can remember exactly how it works...when we first celebrated it (as in year 1) I got a 11 red roses and one yellow rose...as Roz says, yellow is for friendship. Mike always says that you have to love your family, but you don't have to like them...which is why he always tells me he likes me rather than he loves me. Anyway, the next year I got 2 yellow roses and 10 red. He counted them all the way up to 12 when I got all 12 red roses (last year). So this year he started counting again :)

They really aren't! Let me re-enact the first Mike and Ruth conversation I ever heard:
Ruth: Im hungry, go get me some food bitch.
Mike: No.
Variations of 'get me food','from where?' and 'no' occured for the next 30 minutes.
Ruth: Im hungry, go get me some food bitch.

LOL this is probably true. We have that conversation every night. Steven sat on the couch playing with my Ipod while I tried to convince Mike to go get us food ;) I have a picture somewhere of the two of them sitting on the couch, Steven with the ipod and Mike with the remote for the TV.
Mike did eventually go though! He always does ;) Remember he brought us Portillos...cheeseburgers and cheesy fries! Yay! And then we went out somewhere...was that the night you were feeling sick and then we were watching "I love the 80s" and you decided we needed to go to the 80s club and go dancing even though you were feeling sick?
