I wish I could freehand, but I guess you could poser or bryce this up just as well. The winner gets the art displayed in game, I think. So I guess more scenery? I'm looking forward to seeing the entries though.

Yes, the art is displayed in game, though they are not specific on -how- it will be displayed. There are guesses that this will be a painting on a wall somewhere.

I thought it said a 'chance to apply' for a beta slot. If it's a for sure spot, then yeah I'd break my back to do one lol

Interesting.
My only problem with contests really is that you put in the same amount of work as a paid job... for a CHANCE at getting paid.
The Dark Age of Camelot calendar contest I entered didn't really balance out overall when it came to the work/payment ratio. 5 copies of a calendar (which should have been comped anyways), 2 keychains and a cup.
