My husband and I got this through netflix yesterday and decided to watch it last night. All I can say is "Horray for late 80's movies."
Meg Ryan does a great job in all three of her characters and the symbolism in the movie is interesting. Mostly it is just a fun, corny movie with "state-of-the-art" special effects.

My brother says this is the worst movie of all time. I'm not sure I disagree with him ;)

Honestly, I can see why he would be embarassed about this flim, but it is deffinitely not the worst movie ever made. Earth Girls are Easy is the worst movie ever made, followed closely by Ace Ventura. (No I don't hate Jim Carey)

I will dispute this to my dying day. This is the worst movie ever made, that I've seen anyway. Even this MST3K version is horrible. I remember when I watched it that they had some pretty long breaks between the jokes because the material was so bad.
