Gilae's thread in the Techno forums on 80s music brought back a TON of memories about the 80s LOL I am a child of the 70s and teenager of the 80s. I graduated in '84 complete with the big hair holding my cap up! And I got married in '89 with the ruffles on my gown being the only thing wider than my hair ROFL

Funny thing that was the THING TO DO in the 80's. Hair Spray hit record high sales around here in NJ. It was so bad here I think it was given the knickname Jersey Girl if you still have the mile high hair doo.

We once had a line up for chorus and there was this girl who was 5ft tall but at least 5'3" with the bangs in the front. The chorus instructor put her in one spot and then kept moving her further down as he would take a step back and realize it was her hair that made her taller than the person she was next to. Very funny to watch. I could never get mine to stand up like that, it never looked right and generally fell so I eventuallly just stopped trying.

They are sweet pics and on the bright side you were both in white and not in some strange pastel colour that seemed really popular even for tuxes at the time.
