I am in California. Home of the RAKKASAH Festival which is coming up in March! I was a mamber of the troupe Aladdins Lads and Lasses for about 9 years. I will have to get my photos up on Photobucket or Fotki and send a link. . .I can do that today. . .Nice to meet another dancer!

Why did I quit? I had a baby and couldn't drag her to practices every week. . it just got to be too much, but my friend and troup leader wants to start the troupe up again or do a duet and guess who else? ME! But we either have to move up to Washington. . or she has to come back down here to California.

I would like to get to a Rakkasah.. so far away from me!

LOL. . thanks. . .at the time we were around. . .we were very popular because we were so unique. . we did fusion dancing combining Middle Eastern with Celtic and scottish Bagpipes and a full pipe band! Now. . .everyone is into fusion and it's not that unique anymore.But . . yes the plaid was quite unique.

oh so I never posted in here I guess lol I thought I did Anyways i think most ppl here know what i look like by now hehe but if u dont here is a more recent picture I am posting this one because it is my favorite top atm! LOL!

This is from last year.... Some of you know I've been battling with weight for some time. I am still dieting but not making the progress this year like I did last year. I think I posted a picture of myself long ago so wanted to show (with a bit of pride) the change in the last year and a half. between the two pictures above, I lost 50 pounds.
