I'm eh on Narnia; I never did read the books.

Harry definately, ain' no doubt about it.

Zathura - no desire. I hated Jumanji. And this is made by the same guy.

We are hoping to be finished with the Cronicles of Narnia so that we can go see this as a family. I am really looking forward to it. I have been eagerly awaiting each new chapter and book as I read them with my daughter, as I then read the follow ups on the net, to learn about the sybolism and parallels. It has helped me explian why certain events take place, to my daughter and give her a good base for understanding why one character did this and another did that, and that ultimately it has a bigger meaning.

Of course Harry Potter will be a mommy and daddy movie, as that is just way too "real." In NArnia, you can easily push aside the reality factor as only the children look real, but in HP everyone looks just like us and there are some pretty hairy moments in there that would give even me nightmares.

Zathura will be a "eh we might rent that" Not a big Jumanji fan so I'm not all hot and bothered to see this one.

I will be seeing this for sure. The Lion, the Witch, and The Wardrobe was the second long I read in my life. The hobbit being the first.

I had read Lion Witch and the Wardrobe when I was 10 or so but hadn't read the others so I went and borrowed the whole set from a friend and read them. They're short so they make for a quick read. I want to say there are 7 books in all and the books can't be more than a couple hundred pages each.

I think I wasnt clear in my statement that was LW&TW was the second book I read in my life. It certainly was not that long though.

I didn't read the books but we did get this dvd for Catherine. We sat down and watched it last night. I kept thinking this was a 3hr movie. It's funny how a 2hr movie seems so short now.

Abrupt ending...but good.

I finally saw it, and am not usually one big on movies about kid books, but really liked this one.
