Someone explain to me again why I'm patching 5 hrs worth of shit for this game? A game I just happened to find in my computer desk drawer? I should've just loaded EQ again.

Hubby and I got CoV. Should have saved ourselves the 50 bucks each. We both made a few villians, screwed around a bit, and realized there really wasn't that much new. I tried playing my main hero, but I still get too much lag, and I'm still irritated at what they did to super speed basically dropping while you're fighting. Granted I usually just hovered up and started blasting, but occassionally I liked to fight from the ground and play zippy blast zippy. They pretty much ruined that for me. Soooo that's been canceled again, well his has I need to do mine. He actually loaded EQ back up since we pay for it anyway with the station access. We'll see how long it holds his attention lol. Course, it's been about a year or so since he played, so there's a lot that's new to us. We'd be on the same server, too, if ya loaded EQ back up. *wink wink nudge nudge*

It just makes more sense for us to have the station access. I love EQ2, but I can only get him to play with me for so long. But, with that one monthly fee we also have access to the Matrix for when we feel like going more modern type, or EQ when we wanna go back to our roots. Oh and of course we can always whip out Guild Wars since there's no monthly fee there anyway lol. Gods, I have way too many games.

I've been playing Guild Wars lately. What do you do when you get to 20? PVP? I'm not quite there yet. Just started back up last week, and have 2 toons half way there. I'm not real big on this game, but it is even more casual friendly then WoW.

I just got Collectors edition of CoV today. But I've got an assload of pages to churn through before I'll get a chance to pop in.

Im not a fan of Heroes. But I like Villians. hehe For some reason I like robbing banks and stealing items. I love my Plant/Psi Dom and the people I have befriended on Triumph.

Perhaps its because its more casual, easier to hop on, play and hop off. As compared to EQ which burned me out and WoW which frustrated me. Hubby started back on Ultima Online. eheh Now that is a blast from the past.

Patched and played eq1 tonight.. woah, I spent a good portion of the time trying to remember all the key commands and OMG I have to sit and med! But it was neat running around Faydark and Kelethin again.

Still play eq2 and one day I might actually reach 50 but that would require me to quite making alts and go back to the Mage.
