i can agree im a transfiguration man but i don't think i would kill my own huffle puff man
Vudu 20 years ago
heres my reason why i also couldn't have killed him

simon wrote this in the kill thrad at the bottom

Simon walked his normal slow pace down one of the many hallways with his hands in his pockets. His robes swished at his long legs and dusted the top of his leather shoes. He was on his way back to Griffyndor quarters when suddenly there were weeping girls running towards him. A few other's started to run passed him, up to one of the side rooms. Pulling his hands out of his pockets, he quickened his pace to follow.

Upon entering the room, Simon gently nudged passed the other lookie loos and saw the body. Who was that, he thought. David...Tre something...he's a Hufflepuff. He didn't like the layout of the body and its implications. With a grimace Simon turned away from the body and left the room.

simon is a gryifindor and its a huffle puff in the gryifendor common room and the only ones able to get in the gryifendor common room is a grifendor and i don't have the code i only have to the code to open the huffle puff room so thats my arguement on how its not me
ROzbeans 20 years ago
No, I just threw that in there. He was just on his way back to his room, I never said it was in the Griffyndor common area.
Vudu 20 years ago
so what room were you in then and what class
ROzbeans 20 years ago
/shrug, I don't know. Simon was just headed back to his room. Best I could tell from the kill, David was in a side room. There was no other explanation given so I just went from there.

That information doesn't really have anything to do with the kill though. I just rp'd Simon's reaction.

you were still first to see the body

First off - I think there are 5 mafia. "A few" of them snickered or laughed or whatever. Typically "a few" means 3+. Obviously they didn't all laugh, but "a few" were still left over to. I don't think it's 4 because then you wouldn't really say "a few" but instead "the others" or "all but one". I think 6 would be to many even with this huge game. So 5 it is.

Secondly. I don't think someone skilled in Transfiguration would need to practice it. I think more likely it is someone unskilled, or someone that could be skilled but is simply new.

I give you:
Barce
Name: Leroy Mrsic
Age: 11
Appearance: with a rather spindly looking figure Leroy looks as if a strong wind would blow him over, however their is a strenght seen as he walks. His whispy brown hair wrapes his thin face. Under the the hair you see golden peircing eyes that seem to look right through you. He is always seens carrying and old sachel with strange markings on it that he claims his father gave him.
Height: 4' 11"
House: Ravenclaw
Year: 1st
Favorite Subject: Potions & Transfiguration
History: The Mrsic family has always been known for being quite strange and some what outcasts from both the muggle and magic society. Every member of the family seems to have the same gold peircing eyes that carry a knowledge. His family has been rumored to have obtained their wealth from uncovering rare artifacts and treasures that have always been rumored to be lost or unobtainable.

This is Leroy's first year at school and he seems out of place already. Possesing a bit more knowledge that his other classmates he is somewhat not popular with the other students, however the instructors tend to enjoy him in their classes due to his williness to answer questions.
Contents of your school satchel or backpack:
Their is a clinking of potion bottles.
A few random books that appear to have seen better days including one that appears to say Advanced Transfiguration Techniques.
His rather strange choice in a sachel seems to have an apparent odor that many comment on and he feircly refuses to let out of his hands.
A small toolkit that contains a lockpick set.
A extra cloak that is worn and has candle wax on it.
His milky white wand.

Notice that not only does he have a transfig book, but he has an advanced one. On top of that he is a first year and probably wouldn't be able to perform some of the spells in that book yet. The book also has at least Owl Toad Rat and Ferret in it - Seems advanced to me, and a first year would have to practice even though it's one of his favorite subjects. If nothing else then his wand is new and that puts him up for SK role. Given that he fits both bios I think we should hang him. On the first day you won't find many clues, definately nothign concrete, and *someone* has to die. Normally we get a townie - so lets go with the odds tonight.

Now on to the others and the vague stuff. I notice a mention of Violet sneezing? Does anyone see a reference in any bios? There are so many I had to read fast :( Also the looming is also mentioned with the trees. So someone that spends time in forests maybe? Or the horse girl. On top of that Dante Duville fits the role of the looming, glaring person and thats mentions several times. The sneering ect.

More to follow but I'm in a rush before people vote.

Vote Barce! aka Leroy Mrsic

Vudu
you were still first to see the body

How am I the first? Just because I was the only one to RP a reaction? You'd think 31 people, there's be more than 1 reaction to the death kill. Try again.
Vulash 20 years ago
Typically you won't find clues in someone's RP threads that follow a scene. If you do it will be late game if that person is indeed guilty, feels secure, and is toying with us. Roz has done that before, but she wouldnt' be this early for sure.
Vulash 20 years ago
Oh yea, and I thought Ashmore seemed very defensive :D

So far my votes for early mafia are Barce Xandere and Ashmore
Vudu 20 years ago
i stick with my vote and shes transfiguration so she could be in the mafia and btw most people have there books in there bags so just pointing out the books in bags
ROzbeans 20 years ago
Do you realize that damn near half the people playing have transfiguration? It's too common a denominator to be a deciding factor.
Ashmore 20 years ago
well I cant really discredit a lot of speculation brought up about Blake... not without accusing 20,000 other people playing......

I know blake... well hes me :)
Blake is not a killer... he just loves wands :)
Vudu 20 years ago
i know half the people are transfiguration im a transfiguration guy myself im just pointing what i see fitting no reason to get all PO'D at me i just read what i saw fitting and so far i see that as you
Vulash 20 years ago
I'm not upset at all, but I don't see any evidence. If people continue to vote that way with no evidence though...say 5 people - I'll know whats up :D
Blackrabbit 20 years ago
Yeah, transfiguration's my favorite subject along with a bunch of others (like Simon). However, trying to single someone out based solely on their chosen subject at this point is a weak argument at best, even though I pointed out the charms-users. I don't really think any of us can make a concrete argument based on subject at this point. Maybe later on down the line if a theme develops though.
ROzbeans 20 years ago
Simon is not mafia nor is he the serial killer.

1. Transfiguration - fucking everyone has this practically.
2. Read my bio.
3. Most of the time, people rp their reactions to the kill. We are not bound by any rule to give clues against ourselves. Simon was on his way back to his room and he followed the crowd of people heading there. READ WHAT I WROTE. FOLLOWED OTHER PEOPLE.
4. Steven Hiss has transfiguration as well. That must make you mafia.
Blackrabbit 20 years ago
Ooh, didn't notice Leroy, and I was lookin' for a first year too! Good catch V.
Vudu 20 years ago
why are you so upset about me voting against you im just taking stuff the way i see it
Blackrabbit 20 years ago
Because you're basing part of your argument on a RP response that has no actual bearing on the scene of the kill.

I'd be irritated too. ;)
