Blade: Trinity

I had a dream I was Blade's sidekick. Blade kicks ass.

Massive bump - I watched this yesterday after finally being able to purchase the dvd without the husband going apeshit with his comments from peanut gallery! (anniversary yesterday)

So, i'm down the middle about this one. It doesn't flow with the feel of the first 2, which I still think are far superior than the 3rd, but coolness factor it was up there. Ryan Reynolds ... Hannibal King - (i'm having his babies) was hilarious but I think that's what didnt fit in this one. Blade 1&2 weren't 'funny', Hannibal was TOO funny. It was like Wesley Snipes had no idea how to react to his jokes, other than to just look at him blankly.

Abbigal/Jessica Biel wasn't as bad as I figured she'd be. Very hotness, but her part was small considering all the screentime she got from the middle to the end. Her archery tricks were cool.

Parker Posey - she was great in this. Veb disagrees but she was a perfect vampire. Vampy, sexy yet totally psychotic and funny-ish. Different funny. Not haha funny, just /snort funny. Nevermind ops:

Dominic Purcell ... Drake (having his babies too) but I guess this guy is a pro wrestler? /shrug I still dont get the 'last gift' to Blade. Didnt make sense, I refuse to think on it more than that.

Good one liners, 'i forgot my sword...' and 'wtf? This is suppose to be a rescue?!!' and 'WHAT THE FUCK? WHAT THE FUCK! WHAT THE FUCK?! (Reynold's scene wtih the vampire dog). It's literally #3 for the best Blade. I still think Blade2 was better, but Blade1 is just bad ass because Stephen Dorff is HOT. Yes I base hotness on how much I like a movie. =P

mae his gift was taking the form of blade so he could escape.
the whole part that threw me off was with biel.. although in her hotness fighting 20 people while your ipod is blaring in your ears.. i can barely hear someone infront of me talking let alone 20 guys tryin to kill me.

K I thought it was that, but why give him the chance to get away. Oh wait, I know why, because he's what the vampires have been wanting all this time, a day walker.

I thought the same thing too about her listening to her IPOD (SHAMELESS PLUG FOR APPLE).

My really big issue is that pretty much all of the movie gets put into motion when Blade stakes a familiar on accident and gets caught on tape. He's standing there asking why the guy isn't dust yet.

BUT in the first Blade movie, he established that he was able to tell the difference between a familiar and a real vampire a mile away even with the fake teeth in.

Also.. the choreography was much weaker in the third one. I didn't like Dominic Purcell's acting in this one. I his acting in John Doe though. lol

In and of itself, the movie wasn't TOO bad. But as part of the Blade trilogy... very subpar for me. I'll add that to my list of disappointing part 3s.

I hated the second one...and I love Ryan Reynolds so I'm thinking I'll prefer #3...but I haven't rented it yet.

I love love Reynolds too. /purr You didnt like the blade 2? I love anything with Ron Perlman, I admit it. Well, except Beauty and The Best with LInda Hamilton - I still dont get that whole fad.

The ending of Blade 2 was bittersweet. Found love and in the same token, began to accept that part of himself but then looses love and the war continues. The third...definitely watch it as part of the Triology but honestly it doesn't compare to the first. =(

I agree though, not as great as the first 2, but still entertaining.

speaking of jessica biel.. in Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the last part when shes in the meat locker in a wet t-shirt. (gotta love the writers for that =0 lol) anyone else notice either she has no nipples or that meat locker wasnt cold?? /hijack off
