Serenity on DVD (no spoilers)

It's out!

The widescreen version is listed as "unrated" for some reason. The movie's exactly the same.

The menu system is awesome and very Serenity-like.

Sounds and colors are great.

The Bonus Features include about 20 minutes of deleted scenes and about 12 minutes of bloopers. Also a ~5 minute short about starting the movie from the series and a ~9ish minute bit about starting the movie and the reaction of fans who helped re-light the show.

The only commentary is by Joss Whedon.

IMO the non-blooper non-deletedscene extras suck. There's no "making of," no cast interviews, and having some kind of cast-based commentary would have rocked - those people have such great chemistry.

There is one easter egg on the main menu.

Of course, I watched it four times yesterday :shock:
