What did I get. Love from my family....
Ok, seriously, clothes, cookies/candy(which I don't think I really need.), a mousepad with me and the kiddo's pic on it, a referee that I can tear apart and then put him back together, me and Steph were given a digi cam from her dad (well really it's hers, but she said it was for both of us...I guess until she gets mad at me then it will be hers), we got several gift cards...for movies (AMC) and food at various places, got a bunch of cash from dad, which will partially be spent on Sirrius (I'm a Stern fan..what can I say.) Mom was gonna give me a digi cam too, but she couldn't get the one I wanted, so I got cash from her too. I think I might spend it on a video capture thing, so I can transfer from cam corder to dvd or whatever. I'm still deciding on this one. :) I bought myself a 20 Q ball. That's all I can remember for now. :)

Mike has the uncanny ability to buy things that I want, that I didn't realize I wanted till I get them. I was standing in the book aisle of Sam's club reading the ending of Billy Crystal's book '700 Sundays' or some amount yesterday on xmas eve. I got all weepy reading about his mother dying and how he described it. I told my mother in law and we both got all weepy. I put it down and moved on. I open up a present and lo' and behold, he bought me the book. I was like, 'why...but i love it!'
My daughter had a santa workshop this year and bought presents for us. She gave me this cute metal necklace that says, 'I love you' and mike got a shrek flashlight lol. How cute is that?? She got both grandpas flashlights that say 'Grandpa' and both grandmothers coffee cups that say they're the best. We actually I got a crapload from our daughter lol. She also made us this cute clay picture frame from her kinder class and she wrote her name all nice and Catherine-neat on it. They took pictures of the kids and put them in the frames. We're impressed with her school lol.
I got Seaons 1 and 2 of Columbo and a pooh and mickey charm for my charm bracelet. We gave Catherine one for herself with a pumpkin (her nickname), polar bear and 2 charms from my bracelet.
All in all, it was a great day. The turkey came out good and I'm friggin FULL! =D Hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and were with loved ones. Thinking happy thoughts for everyone.

my children got much lewts. my daughter on the right wouldnt open any of her boxes and kept making a big tower out of all her gifts :P My son, however tore open everything the second he got it.

I got three new bookshelves (family members are tired of seeing all of my books on most of the surfaces around my apartment - those tic tac toe ones from ikea), a framed, blown up image of a lighthouse getting hit by a storm surge and a guy at the lighthouse door watching it split around his construct, three days of leftovers, a week and a half worth of chocolate, more cookies than any reasonable person could consume (grats work folk), Serenity and enough Best Buy certificates for half of a new system - it seems everyone decided to grab them from one place this year. Nice. I'll be using those today, more than like, to get a new Vaio. Good times!
I think I ate enough mashed potatoes and mushrooms to significantly alter my blood chemistry for several days. Ah, the wonders of family. "Eat, eat! You've not lifted fork in fifteen minutes, boy!" "Make...the hurting...stop. Uncle...no...more...pie." "Dammit, don't quote Cartman to me!" Was a nice holiday. :P

X was a sweetie.. he got me a purse like this one I had asked for, but since that had a magnetic close he hunted and found a similar one that was a clasp close. And he got me one like this watch but without the diamonds since I hate diamonds. Me super happy!!!!!!!!!!!
