scribbles

I got a new desk (see the phat lewt thread for pic) for christmas so yay me no more skewed scribbles from trying to lean over the arm of the couch with a sketchpad in hand or craning over my work at the dining room table. 2

I've been encouraged to share the first fruits of my new desk

from ref. no one in particular. 3B to 5B pencils. about an hr each

Really great shading for the expressions. Looking at the baby, it's face looks slightly askew, like pinched to the right, but that could just be the baby =D

Love the expression on the man, his teeth and folds of his skin look very realistic. That desk looks like it's really helping =D

Wow, that is so freakin odd. I busted out Alias Sketchbook today to mess around and maybe try out a sketch for the New Year's exchange thing and I totally doodled a baby. Get out of my head, Julie!

Roz is right though - the head looks a bit skewed though I think this is due to needing some deeper shading to better define his left (our right) side.

The expression on the man makes me smile. And I'm jealous of your grasp of lighting. Much better than mine. >_<

yeah I think I ran out of gas on her hair ehehe. but it may be skewed too. I did a third sketch but it was about 2am at that point. Ya'all dun get to see that one

as for da baby. well that's a warmup. I'm working on a sketch of my brothers triplets now. they're so CUTE 'course I'm bias.
