I like the folds in the hat, looks satiny-ish. I think you have too many folds on the robe though. Around the curve the inside of the elbow looks good, but I think it'll look a little better if you smoothed out the forearm and above the elbow. It reminds me of elephant skin.

(dirty thoughts, EW)

The way you have the robe now, it's like she's turned to the side, but if the belt is any indication of where she's facing, it looks like she's turned in more. So it needs to...shift to the left, her right. The robe I mean. Or just turn the belt more and slide it left. Her left. Ugh.

I love how her hair came out. Beautiful strands. It looks like it's just coming straight down, but with a hat, shouldn't it be curved to the right more, like up inside it?

The shading on the face is magnificent.

WOW...this is turning out fantastic. It's really interesting to watch it develop right before our eyes.

k will loose some of the folds in the arms and fix the hair that was supposed to be there lol The belt I was trying to make lok like it was hanging off to the side , guess it didnt go to well lol I'll fart around with it a bit more .

Any better at all? lol

.. fooking smudges ...

I envy your hair~

I'm sleepy so forgive my lack of super c/c. I think you could sharpen up the edges and shading of the fabric to be more in line with the crisp shading of the face and hair. The cloth seems very smudgy and soft.

I think the shading of the fabric is good. Looks like felt, if that's your intent. Vinyl would have the same pattern of white on black but with sharp hard edges.

Your cloth edges are a little mushy soft around the outer edge and could probably stand to be passed over with a hard edged (solid) brush so you define its limits a bit better.

not sayin ya GOTTA.. just sayin it would look a little better. The image looks great as is.

Julie said it better than I did.

kk will go over the edges and i saw some funky stray smudges around I'll hit up with the eraser. Still hate painting black fabrics!! *mumbles* .. sad thing is.. its my #1 choice color for outfits on characters I draw rofl ..
So,.. If you have any super great "black" frabric/surfaces tut around share~!
I'll call it Done after I touch up the edges. Thanks guys .. Can't believe I actually going to finish one!! I blame u *points randomly*
Julie 19 years ago
oke You dun need a tutorial - you did fine.

BUT for the next one we'll make you draw hands! *cackles maniaclly* 8)
Adiene 19 years ago
*dies* Why the hate!

Sharpened edges and stuff , dummy (points to self* merged to transport to new image and forgot to step backwards before closing .. made it lots of fun to try and fix stuff this time ... lol

Now, where do I put her in on ym DA account .. the options omgs! *faints*
