Maybe because for some reason in America we've always had 'fighting'...playing war, cowboys, and indians, etc...from early ages on. Sex is something held for later in life. Parents can deal with pretend shoot em up, but not pretend coitus...?

i liked the first one better. this one was good, but too much story and not enough action. I woulda loved to see more vampires in a vampire movie =D but i liked blade 2 =(

Yeah Mike and I saw it last night. I'm leaning towards the first one being better, but this one was pretty cool. Marcus was very bad ass.

I saw this last night too. Get out of my head. :P I liked it better than the first, mostly because the first one left me with that 'Oooo cool, we get to see Marcus in the next one' feeling.
I really felt bad for Michael though. Seemed like he got his ass kicked every 5 minutes or so.

Ok so it's not nearly as bad the 2nd time around. Granted Viktor's acting in the beginning was hilarious. He over pronounced ALL his lines. Very Captain Kirk-ish.
I still don't like the way the werewolves look or Michael's hybrid. I will say that Marcus' character, the actor and hybrid form was fucking kick ass. The Michael/Selene sex scene still made me cringe. =x
