Why do you come to Tac?

Curiosity at first...in between tags at SA.
But now I like seeing the art, getting to know some of the 'old timers', the funny things, and mafia.

I come for the booze and whores.

I come to TAC for the following reasons:

1: The cool artwork
2: Mafia (which is what brought me here originally)
3: To lurk in style
4: Because my friends hang out here
5: Because Tor is the coolest.
6: I'm sorry. I meant 'biggest ass,' it just came out 'coolest.'

Honestly... this is the one place I've been able to enjoy coming to chat with folks I used to know in EQ. Other sites have never appealed to me even remotely, but TAC manages to go above and beyond a regular old boring 'come bash each other' forum, and brings people together through common interests and persuits.

Although I'm a big fat lurker unless there's a Mafia game going on, I adore TAC and would hate to see it change at all.

1. Kaytana gave me the URL
2. To chat with neatocool peachykeen people with little expectations or prejudice
3. Kaytana made me
4. The cool artwork
5. Roz PMed me saying "I see you so you should REGISTER AND POST!" and since Kaytana made me, I figured I might as well.
6. Because there's nowhere else I'd want to share my poems on a regular basis.
7. Did I mention Kaytana had something to do with it?

the reasons are many and varied.
1. People don't throw rocks at me when I walk say something.

3. i'm deeply, madly in love with Roz.

6. Someone deserves to hear this constant stream of non-sense filling my head.

there's ten reasons... but in retrospect I could sum it all up by saying I come here for the top notch Company. (That would have saved some time..)

I enjoy the banter here. It's silly and civilized at the same time. It also lets me keep in touch with some folks I met playing EQ.

hhmmm... i think originally what caught my interest was that this board was more adult (i was going to say mature... but well, you know). most of the boards i hang at have about 3million rules about what you can do, can't do, can say, can't say, can share, can't share.... here, it's fairly simple ~ give credit and try not to kill anybody. it's great to have a place where people can rant and rave using real language ~ no one freaks out if someone gets creative with their language.

as far as the art, i know i've only submitted a couple, but the feedback i got was the best and incredibly helpful in growing as an artist.

and then there's always the entertainment factor ~ you just never know what's going to pop out people's "mouths" around here. it's a great pick me up!

I came at first because I got a very polite invite from Roz. I figured since she let me screw up her and her husbands charaters in a couples doll, then the least I could do was come visit.

It's a great place to share art, and I always get more that. Hey cool, or complete silence.

I know I'm kind of lurking right now, but inspirations has gone out the window since halloween, so I've not even made bad art.

This board makes me laugh, and I always need a laugh. Plus I get to beat up on Mileron and no one tells me to stop. >:>

well lets see, i used to live on norrath studios but wasnt very happy there. everyone seemed very uptight or proper. Then some new chick came and was mouthly and i thought she was fun and then NS didnt like her anymore. SO i went to her site one day and was like..hey, these people arent proper and sticklers. Tho i never played eq with any of these people cuz i was on a diff server they were still fun! =D

it's kinda like the goth kids lunch table, i dont look like everyone else(me and my bertoxx clothing), but they still let me sit with them!

i dont do any art anymore sadly, my muse curled up and died off like burnt ashes from a cigar.

Honestly I asked because TAC seems to be kinda floating right now. Attempts to artsy it up a bit seems to have stagnated. Mafia is fun but that's mostly in spurts. It was initially our (our being vex and I) idea to make a board that didn't annoy the fuck out of us. We didn't like our prior board so we did what people say to do - go fucking make your own.

So we did.

In any case, I'm alright with tac being a cozy cool place it's just sometimes I wish it had some sort of direction. I do wish there was more art but with the majority of us not playing EQ anymore, it doesn't get the traffic from the other eq servers like it used to. I'm all for TAC being what people want it to be.

But what exactly is that?

I love it the way that it is.

I'm not the artsy type, I haven't done any screenshot work in phleb knows how long.

My writing is my only creative outlet right now.

you know, if there was a game out there that everyone was playing hardcore there prolly be more art. I know with eq , god all i wanted to do was play or make signatures. but i'm lacking creativity with no game that i can love!

I can't imagine that Roz!!! (in all honesty, anyone who feels that way really should get their head examined ~ I mean, how can you not help but admire a woman who says exactly whats on her mind and the hell with everyone else??? Can I be you when I grow up?)

As for direction... i think it's kind of nice not having a specific goal or anything. here, it's just sharing whatever you run across. there's no pressure to participate in events or anything else. (and i do promise to play Mafia next round ~ i just want to watch one first, cuz I am so totally confused over the layout...)
