Yes, the dragon is pretty bad ass. I'm still debating on whether or not to get the special edition to get the dragon. If you don't get it, then I will be suprized, Arthorius, I mean, you did spend the same amount of money on that Naruto game.

I seriously thought about it, until I realized that I was going to buy 2 copies of the game + one vid card so my wife can play.

Well, as it is now, it seems I won't be getting the Collectors Edition. It is DVD-Rom only and I don't have a DVD-Rom, or the money for one right now. And I really want one of those tiny dragons too, its most upsetting.

www.pricewatch.com I'm sure you can find a DVD rom for next to nothing.
I got my dvd rom about 2 years ago from frys and it was only like 20 bucks then (on sale of course) but still.

I'm gonna try and get one off of newegg.com. Last time I looked, they had a Lite-On DVD rom that had a black face for 27 bucks. The thing is, if I do that, then I may not have enough cash to get the CE.

I just ordered this. Going to go ahead and buy the CE version. I don't know how but that dragon makes me smile, which is more than most of my friends can do for me... ;D

Newegg is awesome. I own a PC sales/service company, and they are VERY OFTEN cheaper than my distributors, and a far degree above in terms of customer service.
Lite-on makes great drives, if a tad bit loud. Samsung makes some of the best drives available in my experience, while also being some of the quietest.
As a tip, if anyone might care/did not know... you can generally get a beige drive for a few dollars cheaper than the black or other colored version. If you are building a computer or adding two new drives to an existing computer and need them colored, this can mean a difference of 5-15 dollars.
Buy the beige drives, and go to Pep-Boys or another automotive supply store and buy a can of "Flat", or "Semi-Gloss" VINYL DYE in the required color. About 2.99$USD. This isn't paint. It actually gets absorbed by the panel and will NOT scratch off. Even if you don't buy new drives often, chances are you will eventually do so and one can will last for far more computers than someone not in the industy will likely ever build.

I have a Lite-On cd burner and it is fantastic, but on the DVD drive, I opted to order the drive that Divine posted; however, when I was rebuilding my computer after I got my new motherboard, ram, and processor, my computer would not boot up with the dual IDE cable plugged into both my cd burner and my cd rom drive. My mom's boyfriend said that could be due to the jumpers, but I have not a single clue what the jumpers are or what they do. If anyone could help me out with that, I would be most apprieciative. My dvd drive should be here either tomorrow or thursday. After I get paid friday, I will order the CE on saturday (after the deposit goes through).

I'm gonna suggest you break a sacred man-law here: break out the instruction book for your drives. Somewhere inside it will show you the jumper configuration. The jumper is a little piece of plastic with a copper lining that fits on certain pins on the back of the drive. By moving the position of this plastic piece, you can change the drive from master, slave, or cable-select. The exact position varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. Not sure about the specifics of your system, but most modern systems will allow you to choose cable-select on both drives, and your OS should pick them both up. Or, you can set one to master and one to slave.

Heh, not those jumpers. I understand the drive jumpers, I just don't know about the jumpers on the motherboard. I'll prolly bust open the manual and figure it out, but that is always a last resort :P

My bad, I thought you were talking about the drive jumpers. No clue on your mobo jumpers, like you say, you'll have to bust out the manual on that one.

I got my DVD rom today, and apparently it WAS those jumpers that messed with my slave CD rom. I had it set as a master, thus my computer had 2 masters, so it wouldn't boot. I got my DVD rom, moved the jumper over to slave, slapped it in, and it works fine.
