This lovely pic is of my desk
This is a pic of the cube across from me, which I use for about 25% of the computer work I do in the office.
This is a pic of the "view" when standing right outside my cube.
This is a pic of the view of outside. Note the cameraman's silhouette in the window.
This is actually behind our building. The lake is man-made; the three smokestacks visible in the top right are the remainder of an old facility called The Paintworks, where apparently... someone made paint. Now it houses a dozen or so companies.
The white tents which you can barely see just to the left of the camera's reflection are part of a "entertainment complex" called Lakeside Manor, where they hold parties, wedding receptions, and such. It's basically a catering and reception facility.
In the far top left, behind the trees, barely visible, is the old building of the company I was laid off from.
All during the day people walk around the lake.
Your View - (formerly 'i'm bored')
Which means I want to make something other than art. Let's open a new section, any suggestions?
EDIT:
So maybe not a new section but a neat idea. Post a pic of your view, any view but make it interesting.

I took pics of my current view and of the gimp leg soon as I can hobble over to LB's pc to download them I will. I like the neat views all. Gives me something to look at. My desk at work is wicked clean. I cant stand having anything out if I am not working on it. Of course right now its spotless and someone else is watering my plants so I hope its nice when I get back like the 12th.

A few views from outside my work (clearly not as cool as all you guys with ponds and the such):

Cali's current view!
The right side of the bedroom from where I am sitting in bed all comfy.
The left side of the bedroom from where I took the first pic.
The pic of the knee, encased in a bandage, hidden by an anti-bloodclot stocking, under a Cryo-Cuff and immobilizer.
I got roses from my in-laws upon my return home, and carnations from my friend from work who stopped by Saturday. LB did a pretty good job of shoving everything into a handy vase.

Yeah but it's not like Roz or Shay or Kayt where I can just turn and see it... I have to stand up and walk fifty feet :(

hehe The laptop had TAC up!! It kinda got washed out on the Right Side pic. Non-computer/gaming friends have visited and compared my bedroom to Nasa for some strange reason. *shrugs*
I am getting used to my hard plastic and velcro exoskeleton, its going to be around for 6 weeks, so I may as well learn to live with the damn thing.
Mil, your cube is amazingly neat and tidy! I highly approve. Though the cube farm does make one depressed. :( Perhaps you can bring in a drill and take out some screws so walls fall down? ;)

I've plotted such a thing, but unfortunately the only wall that's unattached looks over the front door and the bathroom hall.
I really don't want to get a frequent view into the ladies' bathroom.

Nice cubicles! When I worked at comcast we had ghetto small cubes. Wait, lemme find that pic.

My desk was a mess. Not dirty but cluttered. Check the hello kitty gear!!!

Now that cube has personality though! Looks a lot like mine did when I worked for EarthLink.

The little monkey thing no one noticed in my cube is made out of coconuts and has a hula skirt with matching coconut banjo. How much more clearly could you define personality?

Maybe a rainbow window sticker on the back window of your car that says "I love balls in my face?" :shrug

I had a paper xmas tree on my cube wall that was sabotaged and stabbed to death with a push pin a week or two ago. The coconut monkey was from THE COMPANY WHITE ELEPHANT GIFT EXCHANGE ty. I got owned, people jacked my cookies and chocolates and I ended up with a banjo monkey. Hater.
