First Summer Burn

In Colorado, we have this huge water park called Water World. Today, I went with a couple people and we picked up our season passes. The day turned out to be one of (if not) the hottest days of the year to date. The sun is an asshole. I now bare a strange resemblance to this fellow:

Looking forward to going back like 90 times this summer. What's everyone else doing now that the sun's out?

I love cold weather more than almost anything else in the world...unless I'm getting out of a giant pool and it's 60 degrees out with a hard wind. Then it sucks and I cry. That's not even mentioning what happens to my testicles.

What's everyone else doing now that the sun's out?

keeping my pampered ass indoors as much as humanly possible. Sadly, in Memphis, 90F aint shit. It will be getting 100s with like 99% humidity. You know, where its so humid, you can grab the air with your hand....

I am not sure if its because I was born and raised in California where humidity means its actually raining, but I love humidity. When the air is thick its like swimming. When you can feel the air caress you like a lover. You can close your eyes and imagine that you are in a lush tropical jungle.

Its good, I like it.

CT is pretty humid. I like it. Though hubby may consider moving to NC sometime in the next ten years. Tonight we had thunder and lightening with 70+ degree weather. Not that I know since I am cocooned in the air conditioned bedroom but thats what I saw outside and my pc told me what temp it was. hahah

If I could I would be sitting outside drinking in the rain.
