Print Name or Signature ....

Hey guys i just wanna know that when u recieve a fed-ex door tag and you just want to leave the package in front of your door so that you don't have to pick it up in the fed-ex office after the 3rd attempt.....do you PRINT YOUR NAME or SIGN ( well just normal signature) when in the door tag it says ... " Leave the signed form on your door and we'll leave your package unless exeptions are noted below."

Just reply sign or print .... i just want to see if it's me who's dumb or it's the fed ex person that needs to be killed !!!!

I dunno, I've never had anyone leave one of those, they just always leave it infront of the door. I know that you can write a note for them to leave it then sign that and it gives them written consent to leave the package.

i signed the form and the fed ex delivery man said that the signature doesn't match the name on the package ... the funny thing about this is that signature doesn't necessarily have to match their name...... it's just a signature .... anyway fed-ex just called me and the person is confused too as to why delivery man didn't leave it in front of my house .... this just means that i need to go to the office and pick it up myself .... talk about delivery home services

Hmm, I dunno, maybe you just got a crappy delivery guy this round. And a release form shouldn't have to have the same name on the form as it does the package, I mean, when people bring up packages to be delivered (if some places still do that anymore) then any signature works.

For his incompetence, and you having to go pick up your package, they should pay you for going to pick it up.

I think it'd be funny if I wrote in "Cancer", but I doubt they'd get it.
