Will have to check that out. You might like Enchantment by Orson Scott Card. It's a retelling of Sleeping Beauty.
Mirror Mirror
By Gregory Maguire. He also wrote Wicked, Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister and Lost. If you haven't read any of his books, give them a try.
Mirror Mirror is his (very) adult re-telling of the Snow White story. It's set in Renaissance-era Italy and the Borgias are key players in the story. For a fairy-tale and history buff like me, this was an ideal combination. Also his treatment of the dwarves was quite original. Anyway, if you do pick it up, tell me what you think of it.

I keep picking up Wicked everytime I go to the bookstore but then put it down because I pick up something else. I need to just bite the bullet and read it hehe. Doesn't Anne Rice have sleeping beauty stories too?

It's not even good erotica. It's all S&M, which is fine, but gets old fast, imo. Nothing original there if you ask me. Orson's is MUCH better. :)
