Eh, its all traced from photos so basically it shows a lot of patience not necessarily artistic talent. Especially with illustrator cs2. I tried the demo of that and it has a live trace function. You can basically stick your nifty Jennifer Garner picture in illustrator and tell it to find the outlines for you. Blam done...its all colour by number from there so it doesn't even take patience anymore.
I'm not saying that is what -this- person has done but without something that shows they can draw I'm less likely to believe they didn't just use the filters to pick outlines and make stuff for them.
insane art.

I've tried vectoring before so I won't say that it's necessarily easy. However, I don't have CS2...just straight up Photoshop 7.
I do love vectors tho and I think this is very pretty

I don't have cs2 either. I can't afford it. I demo'd it to see if it was worth shelling out the big bucks for an upgrade. I have old illustrator 10 and photoshop 7. But yeah if you can have the outlines from a picture done for you then it doesn't strike me as impressive as it could be. The people who do freehand vector work that is super awesome are the ones I generally find very inspiring. It is still pretty though.
