Rented this and watched it today. First off - Mark Wahlberg is ridiculously hot and I always enjoy him in any movie he's in. I especially liked him in Four Brothers, but Shooter was well done. Not a super memorable movie and not unpredictable - even the ending - but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Plus he's almost naked in one part and that made me happy too. =D

Danny Glover, Tate Donovan and a few more popular stars are in this one - Danny Glover is wearing invisiline braces which I thought it was odd. Anyway, decent movie. :thumbsup

I was actually kind of surprised when we watched this one the other night. Much better than I expected and a few nice plot twists (especially loved the scene in the Dept of Justice - which is probably the only thing we did not see coming!! Major spoiler though, so I'll shut up!!)

That's one thing I've learned to look for in movies - scene that seem to have no direct correlation with what's going on - stuff that seems out of place and is being focused on. I still didn't catch the one for this one though hehe.

i think it (the seemingly out of place scene) happened in the 5 minutes that i stepped outside to have a cig - and the person i was watching it with didn't catch it either!!!

what i really love is one like this with some good twists - and going back and watching again to find all the foreshadowing scenes that i totally missed the first time around. actually, i do the same with books... amazing how some comment takes on whole different meanings when you know what's really going on!

God when Harrison Ford came out with that movie 'Presumed Innocent', I went and grabbed the book first. A friend read it and told me the ending, the second I got to the clue part of it in the book, it was ruined =( I usually don't care what the ending is but wow that really socked it to me lol.

that was one movie that i really didn't see how the hell the clues added up to what really happened - and how they could possibly be pointing in the direction they seemed to be pointing in - until the end where they laid it all out. and that is why i read the books after i see the movie! would have totally ruined the ending!
