And I think the main reason I'm not considering seeing this is I have come to the decision that movies are too freakin expensive anymore. If you want me to spend about 40 bucks for Rainee and I to go see a movie...then damn it, it better be worth it! 
Not that 40 bucks is a lot of money, but its twice what the DVD would cost to buy, and I could then watch that whenever I wanted. This movie is on my "I'll wait for the DVD" list at best.

Matinees FTW!! Here they're only $6.50 if you go before 6pm on weekdays, and 2pm on weekends. Somethings just translate better on a big screen, otherwise I agree with you.

Well we had dinner with friends before we hit up the movies. So, 44 bucks for our dinner (Mike HAD to have steak and lobster since I've been sick lately and just had a bowl a soup) and then I fandango'd the tickets for 22 bucks (extra 4 bucks since we could have gotten a military discount). So yeah, it was expensive but 1 of 2 of the Hartmann party was very happy. =D

and here my date was teasing me that he got off cheap - we weren't able to do the imax and it turned out to be a matinee - so even with popcorn and soda it was less than $25!!
and then he made me dinner... i think i might keep this one for awhile!!!

Hey! Val Kilmer did a very good job in that role. I think he even did a better job than Dennis Quaid, or ever bit as good anyway.

Tombstone is an amazing movie. Kurt Russell blew my mind and I thought he wasnt' going to be any good either. Val Kilmer was just bad ass.

Don't buy the popcorn, or the nachos, or the hotdogs, or the $5 pops, all it does it makes you piss halfway through movie and make you gain 2lbs cause you're eating LARD.

I saw 300 last weekend, I personally loved the movie myself. They did a wonderful job keeping it in the same style as the book ^_^
