DAY ONE - VOTE THREAD

ok -- I really don't like being the first person to vote, but I have to pick up my daughter at the airport in a couple hours and will get home too late to vote then.

for lack of any real concrete evidence - yea, sorry, but that's usually the way it goes with the first vote, I'm going after Emerald .

Reconsidered and found her much more suspicious than Jet...still going to consider further though, along with the other killer.

Scratching his belly through the three shirts he wore, Henry took a long look at those scattered around. All they needed was a few more clothes and a trash can to light up rather than a dead body on the pavement to make it feel like home to him. Looking back up at the balcony where poor Vern was flung he thought for a moment.

Squinting at the tallest member of their little party he pointed a slightly dirty finger at the corpse. "The way I figur it, somebody woulda had ta be pretty big ta toss Vern ova tha rail. Where was you sleepin Lincoln?"

Henry had nothing agains tha miltary man but too many times he'd been run off by cops to want anything to do with authorty figurs. Though that pretty boy seemed capable o the job as well. Lowering his finger, to resume scratchin, Henry pondered a bit more.

Lincoln snorted in derision as the vagabond called Henry pointed a crusty finger at him accusingly. Lincoln kicked up the dust at his feet and stared at him.

"Doesn't take a tall man, or a strong one, to make a killing from a height. I reckon even you could have set out to prove that ole Vern couldn't fly. Course Vern could've likely jumped anyway if he caught a whiff of your delightful odor."

Lincoln cracked his head to the side and grinned.

"And I sleep near Charley. So don't get any ideas about pushing me over my horse Henry."

Lincoln didn't bother to wait for a reply. For all he knew the crazy old vagabond was just as likely as anyone to have pushed Vern over the edge. Lincoln laughed softly. At least Charley would scent out Henry long before he got close enough to...

Nervously typing my first mafia vote post here. I tell you, I had a bit of an idea until I read the chatter. hehe Then confuseded. Very good points all the way through. But after going back to the bios, here are my votes.

For the SK I go with Kyle
Reasoning: Recovering alcohalic and drug abuser. Might not even know he did it if he has mental problems due to these health issues. Seems to be paranoid a bit and the drug does contribute to the flow of his "theories", whatever those might be. "Theories" could just be his way of explaining why he does the things he does (i.e. Someone claiming the devil made me do it.)He squints and so might need to get closer to see clearly the damage done or to see signs of life. Also the manner of speaking seems to fit.


For the Mafia I go with Henry
Reasoning: Smell of Death caught my attention right off to our homeless gentleman. Rummaging through garbage for cast off items (i.e. clothing, etc). Garbage smells, and there are a lot of dead people laying about starting to stink. Their clothing would stink badly too after a day or two in the sun. Someone that "borrowed" such clothing would also have that smell even after a bath since it is permeated into the material itself. Also, admittedly stereotyping here, homeless people can be bought off quite easily with offers of possessions, money, drink, or food just to name a few things. "Help us and we will..." You fill in the blank.

Nic wanted to disappear. This was very much not good. While being around others was a vast step up from being on her own, this situation was getting dreepier by the second. Dreams that felt real and made her itch to be somewhere, the guy who was willing to take charge dead (and if she wasn't mistaken, he had been hurt before falling, though she only had TV to go with), and now everyone pointing fingers at each other and wanting to blame someone for what could have been a simple accident. Right?

Oh alright, she'd been to the Needle often enough to know the grid was there for a reason - too many jumpers, and people lacking in grace. Not to mention kids wanting to hang over the edge and look down... glancing around, she searched each person's face, trying to find some clue as to whether they had had anything to do with this. Nada. Damn. Sometimes being a kid sucked. She so was not ready for this. Out of habit, she almost dismissed the homeless guy... his name escaped her. There was Emerald, one of the nurses's - what was the other's name? Carly, who had seemed a nice enough sort. And Kyle, a reporter. Most of the rest of the names had elluded her - she'd have to do something about that. Wasn't polite not to know who you were traveling with. She was sure her momma would have lectured her up one side and down the other for not having paid better attention...

(Ok, this just sucked trying to sort out the bits and pieces of what could or might not be clues, especially since our mods are just warped!!! Luvs ya!! :kissey )

At least 3 of the first group that voted for me are Mafia. Keep that in mind. Although I find it funny that I went from the least suspected to being thrown under the bus first. But I would've voted to kill me first too had I been mafia. Looking forward to my death scene! =D


I vote Henry. Grey hair, grey sweatpants and he's stinky = the smell of death.

I think we should give Kyle Evans his first break ever. I mean, he got away from the vampires and Captain Tripps just to get lynched? Bummer!
