vw pulls in and waves wildly

Ok, I am new. I am somewhat older than many doll people (most of which are young enough to be my students lol) at the grand old age of 36. I love ladybugs, has something to do with my first initials, vwbug.. ladybugs... there is a link somewhere but I don't know how it came to be. chuckles.

Busy in real life stuff lately but trying to revive my writing and artistic attempts. I have been in online rp groups since 2000 and have too many characters now to even try to list them all. I have two novels in progress that are in writer's block heaven at the moment.

I doll for fun and to give visual to my characters. I love the creative process but dislike pressure and stress. Get enough of that at work, I teach, therefore I am legally insane. hehe

I write and doll for relaxation and to keep from becoming too deeply intrenched in the anal retentive world of science (which I love but I don't want to turn into that nerdy teacher that doesn't have any other interests in her life but science and lab manuals).

I am totally freeform in my work but tend to be wordy in my writing (love the really thick historical romances, I do, I do... the more description and setting the better... The Outlander series is my fav but the Sword of Truth series, scifi, is a close second).

My dolls will never be perfection or as good as the true artists out there (like most of you probably), but it brings me joy and that is why I do it. I like making things for my friends, again nothing spectacular but I like to bring smiles. If I could do it more often without them knowing it was me doing it, I would. I like to be anonymous. I don't care if I am credited, it is enough that my gifts bring a warm feeling to the other person.

I have a website, it is a conglomeration of a personal site, a site to help my students, my dolls, and my writing stuff. It is a work in progress, but has come a loooong way from my first attempts back in 2002 or 2003 (not sure when I tried the first one). One of my site sibs helped me with the frame thing.
