Eek!
Ok, so I'm like complete noob at 3D stuff, but I thought I'd try something for a laugh. I finally learned how to stick the hair on the body...*cough*
Aaanyway, I have this rendered scene....thing... and well, I tried to open it in Photoshop to make it into a sig and well, the pic is tiny! Miniscule! But I can't seem to save the render as anything other than a DAZ thing.
So how do I do it?
If someone patient wants to talk me through it rather than try explain in typing, I'm madreddruid on Skype, but say who you are or I decline cal...too many Turks after me for passports n stuff :S

Couple quick questions:
You did hit the "render" button on the toolbar up top? (can also use Ctrl+r)
if you did do that, did you go to File> Save last render? (not file> save as)
If you did both those things, you can go to Render> render settings on the top menu and change the dimentions of your render. (can also use Ctrl+ Shift+ r)
What it sounds like to me, is you created a scene, & then went to File> save as. what that does is save your scene, but it doesn't render, and the little thumbnail that you see is the thumb automatically generated by studio when you save a scene
if you have any questions, you're more than welcome to IM me on msn, or yahoo. there should be little buttons under my av that will tell you what my handle is.. if it doesn't, I'll send you a PM with them.

Crap, and now save last render is greyed out. Does that mean I have to start all over again? :(

You will need to open the scene in Daz. Click the render button again. After it renders, then hit save last render to save it. Save it as a PNG if you want transparency. ;)

I fix! The signature box is not your forum signature. Don't put anything in there because it only shows up in your PROFILE. If you're going to change your signature, go to USER CP and EDIT SIGNATURE. Use the [img] codes. Go check it now, I fixed it with the proper code.

you can always paint it! if you do get into this it is vrey much worth getting the plat club membership at Daz3d - I budget about $25 a month for daz and usually come away with roughly $100 worth of stuff every month, usually more, especially when the Daz Exclusives are on sale. I also wishlist anything i want at Renderosity so that when they go on sale I can get it then if i still want it. (they email you a notification when they do)
but sometimes, when you really gotta have somethign and ya just gotta have it now... *sigh*

Well I got the PC a while ago when I promised myself I'd learn it, but never bought anything lol. But all the cheap stuff seems to be for V3 or Aiko, and I went and bought V4...
So, I now have a V4, wearing that super hot Fatale outfit (could't resist it >.<) and no hair cos I can't afford the hair lol.

Hair Freebies
V4 Freebies
First one is a hair freebie list I did for our club at DA, second is a bunch of stuff listed over at the Daz forums for V4 :) Have fun! Sometimes I have as much fun looking for freebies as making art lol
