Who are you? I am Cali. Though in RL I answer to Kerry. My online life is almost always a Cali or derivative of Calimaryn; Calimayrn, Calimyrn, & Camilaryn. People that are prejudiced against others based on color, religion, sex or sexual preference. I cannot stand to hear others make derogatory comments about other human beings who's only difference is to not be exactly like the speaker. Gah!

Tattoos: 13 year old blue dolphin on my inner left ankle and two year old Buddhist Eternal Love Knot on my right shoulder blade
Piercings: Right & Left Earlobes, Left ear at the top of the ear, naval (still there after not wearing a hoop for 8 years!), Right nipple
What are your fears/phobias?
Fear of heights. Jumping bugs freak me out but only cus I don't want them on me

Born in California, married too young, had a baby too young, moved to North Dakota (hell), moved to Tennessee, got a divorce, met a wonderful man, moved to Connecticut & got married.
Been vegan 4 years in May, and L/O Veg 5 prior due to allergies / health concerns.
LB (my hubby's online nickname that stands for Litchebane) and I go to RenFaire every day the NYRF is open.

Both? And truffles please! ooo and lemon cupcake on the side. Its a good thing I have to make my own or else I would only be able to shop at Omar the Happy Tentmaker's shop.
What is the scariest thing you ever did in your life…the kind of ‘heart in your throat, so scared you might throw up’ kind of scary?
When Angel was 5 or 6 we were sitting in a salon to get her hair cut, I remember distinctly she was kneeling on the bench looking behind it. I looked down at her and realized, for the first time completely, that I was responsible for this little life beside me.
If you were given one wish, for anything at all you wanted, what would you wish for?
I would like the ability to heal and change the human mind & body, mine and others.
Would you be willing to adopt an emu?
I dont think I have room in the condo for an emu. Sorry!
For those in a commited relationship - How did you meet your significant other?
The second day of UO's release I started on the Atlantic server cus it was the only one up. I was wandering about and mining when I met one guy, he helped me and showed me what to do. Up came another newbie like me, named Klandestine. We worked together and had a great day. After that I ran into the cute Klandestine repeatedly until one day he said hi to me in a new body, Brother LichBane because he had joined a guild called the Brotherhood of Immortals. Well, after a while of adventuring together I did my best to join the guild as well, becoming the first woman to join. Eventually we built a house on the coast, with room for his boat and his friend Whipsaw. ICQ numbers were exchanged and we eventually started emailing & snail mailing each other.
He helped me through the moved from ND to TN and my divorce. Eventually we were calling and making plans to meet. We met on the 4th of July weekend in '99 in Lexington, VA and have been together ever since. On valentines day of '00 he asked me to marry him and after 4 long years of a long distance engagement we got married in '03. Bringing the number of times we have 'tied the knot' to 5 (UO, EQ, DAoC, TN & CT).
What is it about writing or creating artwork that made it part of your life?
My imagination runs constantly, the ability to RP on SA or in games helps me not choke on the huge variety of ideas, personalities and quirks clogging my noggin.
What is your favorite flavor of Ice cream?
Soy Delicious Mocha Almond Fudge
Would you ever have casual sex - have you ever had casual sex?
I never have, and doubt I ever will.
What is your weakness… one thing that you can’t help but over-indulge in?
This changes because the instant I have my item of craving the need to over-indulge fades. Possibly Blue Icee's.
If you could give one person a gift who would you give it to and what would it be?
I would give my daughter Angel the gift of joy & happiness for the rest of her long and healthy life.
What was the occupation you really wanted to be when you a child? And did you achieve it or not?
When I was under 15 I wanted to design clothes and when I was 15 through 18 I wanted to be a psychologist. No I did not become either and am quite happy without those.

Tanga or thong for me. LB looks best in silk boxers or boxer-briefs.
What's your favorite color? Why?
Burgundy. Rich, dark red that would feel like heavy silk and taste like an expensive Merlot. It would smell like strawberries covered in a dark chocolate.
I am not sure why I like it, but thats what I like and how I see it.
What is a personality flaw that you have?
I procrastinate. On everything. I dont keep friends because I dont keep in touch with them because I put it off forever. I get sucked into inactivity because I put it off for 'later'. I would really like to change this but somehow it just doesnt work.
What is the weirdest thing you like to eat. Something that other people ask you WTF?
Some people consider everything I eat weird. Soy cheese, soy bologna, tofu, edamame, artichokes, brussel sprouts oven roasted w/ garlic, seitan.

My name is Sarah. I go by lots of different names in lots of different places, but since this and SMMO are the only message boards I visit and I don't visit for game purposes my real name works great.

I was the first person in my very large extended family born in Texas. I have one biological sister, three step sisters, and one step brother. I have four nieces. 7, 6, 5 and 4 months.
I've been married almost 9 years and I live in Austin. I'm going to school to be an early childhood teacher. I spend a lot of time volunteering for my church and playing with my daughters.
Cake or Pie?
Pie. I like cake, but if the two are there and I have a choice I'm going with the pie, so long as it's not apple.
What is the scariest thing you ever did in your life…the kind of ‘heart in your throat, so scared you might throw up’ kind of scary?
A haunted house. I hate being scared. I'm not a thrill seeker and so my boyfriend talked me into one one year and I went. I had to leave in the middle to vomit, right after the strobe light room and I put my hand on what I thought was a wall but turned out to be a person painted like the wall. He never asked me to go again.
If you were given one wish, for anything at all you wanted, what would you wish for?
Happiness for my children and my marriage.
Would you be willing to adopt an emu?
No, scary damn birds.

We met in High school. I taught a Bible study every Thursday morning and one week I left my Bible in my carpool's car and he was the only person I knew with a car, so I told him he had to take me to get my Bible, he said he didn't have to do anything, but he took me anyway. About a week later he started showing up outside my classes and carried my books. Then he eventually asked me on a date and we've been together ever since, just over 11 years now.
What is it about writing or creating artwork that made it part of your life? I can't not do it. I've been writing and creating since I was a small child. If I suppress it I get cranky and depressed and my dreams become disturbing nightmares. So I write or create as often as I can.
What is your favorite flavor of Ice cream?
I like lots of different ice creams, but I think my favorite is plain old vanilla with toppings.
Would you ever have casual sex - have you ever had casual sex?
Not now, but I did once upon a time.
What is your weakness… one thing that you can’t help but over-indulge in?Chocolate with stuff in it - nuts, caramel, gooey things, toffee, whatever.

I would give my best friend peace. He needs peace in his life and if it were up to me I would give it to him.

Green. Any shade of green. If I am stressed, green calms me. The green of trees, of nature, of my favorite blanket. Green makes me think of peace and joy and growth.

Um, not that I can recall. I think I have been surprised a time or two that a certain poster was male when I thought them female, but it didn't change my opinion of them.
Are you the one doing the seducing or are you the one being seduced? Usually, being seduced. I forget about it most days. Since I'm a stay at home mom and my days are filled with the stress of that, I'm usually too exhausted to do anything for my husband, so usually it's him getting things started.
What color are your eyes? They are a blue-ish hazel, when I'm not feeling any extreme emotion. They change color with my emotions, from brightest blue, to stormy gray to bright green.

Yes, very well thank you. I don't remember not swimming, my grandparents always had a pool in their back yard and I spent my summers in it.

What was the occupation you really wanted to be when you a child? And did you achieve it or not? I wanted to be a lot of things. When I was a pre-teen and teenager I wanted to be a teacher. I'm not there yet, but I'm working on it.

Green. Any shade of green. If I am stressed, green calms me. The green of trees, of nature, of my favorite blanket. Green makes me think of peace and joy and growth.

I'm a big time procrastinator. If I can leave it until tomorrow I will.

Um, not that I can recall. I think I have been surprised a time or two that a certain poster was male when I thought them female, but it didn't change my opinion of them.
Are you the one doing the seducing or are you the one being seduced? Usually, being seduced. I forget about it most days. Since I'm a stay at home mom and my days are filled with the stress of that, I'm usually too exhausted to do anything for my husband, so usually it's him getting things started.
What color are your eyes? They are a blue-ish hazel, when I'm not feeling any extreme emotion. They change color with my emotions, from brightest blue, to stormy gray to bright green.

What is the scariest thing you ever did in your life…the kind of ‘heart in your throat, so scared you might throw up’ kind of scary? Meeting with a client in Dallas a couple of years ago. I had 'one of those feelings' while we were on our way to her place. We'd been there about an hour when her boyfriend (who also owned the house) showed up ~ and ran us out and called the cops on us. I KNEW that case was gonna be trouble... Everything turned out okay in the end but damn, that guy was scary.
If you were given one wish, for anything at all you wanted, what would you wish for? My kids' health and happiness.
Would you be willing to adopt an emu? Probably not...they're not very cuddly, are they?
For those in a commited relationship - How did you meet your significant other? I was on the Powwow circuit, selling my beadwork. He showed up at my booth one day and we became friends. Five years later, I was divorced and looking for a place to stay and he offered to help me look and let me stay at his place in the meantime. That was nine years ago and I still haven't found a place...
What is it about writing or creating artwork that made it part of your life? Writing is a great release mechanism for me, a place where I can say what I want and rant'n'rave if I need to and not be judged. I live in a very small house and doing artwork on the computer gives me a chance to let the creative juices flow in a very small place ~ my laptop.
What is your favorite flavor of Ice cream? Denali Flavors Moose Tracks

Who are you? With the exception of my guild, people don't tend to call me by any in-game names, and I'm somewhat glad for it. For them, calling me Tek is fine, that never really bugged me. Folks who know me from message boards call me Sinned or Sin or SA. I think one calls me Aria. Evidently he has a problem with the Sinned part. Everybody else calls me by my real name, Courtney. A few people can get away with calling me Court.
What brought you here? (another site or person) I came here from SMMO, and Roz's invitation posts to the art events. By about the third exchange I watched the outcome of, I decided it was impolite to lurk.
Do you TAC often? I'm relatively new, and have so far not participated in any challenges or anything, but I hope to participate in the next one.
Do you Mafia? Not yet! I'd definitely like to give it a go sometime though.
Do you art or write? Both. As a kid, art and writing were both things I just... did, because they were fun and I enjoyed showing off little stories with illustrations. Then I started getting self-conscious about my work, and became a perfectionist with my writing, so I have to take time to just sit back and remind myself why I do it. For the art aspect, I never really did it seriously until a couple of years ago. About winter of 2005 is when I really started to practice daily. I drew before that, and got the anime phase out of my system in high school thankfully. No offense to any good manga artists out there, I do admire your work, but I'm rather sick of it as a whole.
Favorites books? Jane Lindskold's Firekeeper series is one of my favorite series. Before I really got into fantasy though, I used to read a bit of everything. Nowadays I tend to read art and writing books, or articles online. :P
Favorite muic? There's not really a type of music I dislike, or any I prefer over another. I get into different moods and want to listen to different things.

Do you game? Absolutely not. I feel gaming is a waste of time and a detriment to the moral fiber of our children.
That said, I think anyone who thinks that way needs to get a life and find something more relevant to pick on. I've been gaming as long as I remember, starting out with the NES. I currently game on the PS2, GBA, and PC. My favorite game genre is RPG.
And not only do I game, but it's such a huge part of my life that about a year ago I decided I might as well just stop letting people tell me it was silly, and devote my career pursuit to it as well. So I'm currently enrolled at Westwood College for their Game Art and Design program.

Have you ever e-hated? Comes with the territory of e-loving, I think. Like Beli though, I can count on one hand the number of times I've broken out any truly nasty language with someone. One of them was for a drama whore in EQ. It's a long story, but I've always been heavily into roleplaying, and used to play male toons because I learned quickly that anything with pixelated boobs was going to get unwanted attention. So this woman convinced herself that I was the best guy in the world, and she was going to leave her husband to be with me, etc. This was all in the spanse of maybe one day of grouping. When I realized she might be serious, I sent her a polite tell saying that I had no interest in that kind of relationship. My gender wasn't any of her business, but I would have told her as a final straw if she kept at it. But fortunately (heh) she decided to go all psychobitch about it and turn on me. She liked to tell all of my female friends (many of whom knew who I was) that I had stalked her IRL, and all other sorts of nonsense. It was pretty amusing, until another dramawhore believed her. That's about when I rerolled a female Vah Shir on another server.
Ever broken a bone? >.< Three bones. The tip of my left elbow, from being a stupid child and trying to leap over a long table. And both of the bones in my right forearm, from a car accident two years ago. Unfortunately I still suffer from chronic pain from the latter.
Have children? No.
Want children? I'm really not sure. I'll settle for pets for now.
What is your most hated pet peeve? I can't stand intolerance. I just can't. I suppose you could say I'm completely intolerant of intolerance, heh.
Tattoos or piercings? Neither. :/ My body grows like.. scar tissue from hell, so it decided to eat my piercings. And I haven't had the money or the resolve for a tat yet. But I'd like to get one when I finally move and start my new life.
What are your fears/phobias? I really don't like needles. It's not to the point where if I see one on TV I start hyperventalating, but when I know I'm going to have blood drawn, I get pretty upset. I wish I could say it was an irrational fear. >.<

Well... I'm 21 and currently living in Gainesville, Florida. I was born in Florida, raised in Lake County, and consider it my hometown. I had somewhat of an abnormal childhood, as the retina in my right eye detached when I was nine, and from then until thirteen I had a total of I believe 11 surgeries for that, appendicitis, and a broken elbow. Add one more at 19 for a broken arm. I really don't feel sorry for myself. In fact I am glad to have gone through it, as it made me the person I am today.
Currently I am working at Michael's Arts and Crafts as a bookkeeper while attending an online program for a Bachelor's in Game Art and Design. I spent a couple of years floundering in community college, rather disinterested. Then when I had decided to give up and look into an IT vocational program, I found this, and it was the only thing that truly clicked. Though I had a few stumbles through financial aid, and I'm going to be indebted for the rest of my natural life, I am very glad for making that decision when I did. I'm currently maintaining a 4.0 for the first time ever, and it's not for lack of difficulty. I know some people snicker at online school, but for the accredited programs, it's truly an intensive experience, and if I wasn't passionate about it, I know I could never do it.

My cousins and I used to play at my grandfather's farm when we were younger. Our parents would stay inside and do grownup stuff while we went outside, typically well past sundown. There used to be some construction going on, a couple properties over, and once the crew had left we'd go over there and climb the huge mounds of dirt and just generally be stupid. Well, one night we went over there planning to do just that, and found out we weren't alone. Thinking on it now, it was probably a drifter, and a drunk one at that. But he was sitting out there, and he was just yelling and screaming at us, I'm sure there were some threats in there, but I was already running by that point. We ran all the way back to the farm.
If you were given one wish, for anything at all you wanted, what would you wish for? To not have to worry about bills closing in, living from paycheck to paycheck. I get extremely stressed about those things, and feel overwhelmed when it comes time to pay the bills. I don't care about having a nice house or a nice car. Sure it would be neat, but all I really want is financial security.

For those in a commited relationship - How did you meet your significant other? Online, actually. We first met while I was playing SWG with my guild. At the time, he was in an allied guild, but they broke apart after SWG began to decline, so he joined our guild for WoW. We started talking more often in January right after I had my accident. He asked me how I was doing, and told me if I ever needed anyone to talk to, he would be glad to listen. As it turns out, I really needed someone to talk to.
Both of us being roleplayers, we decided to interact with our characters, and when things turned down the relationship road for those two, we were fine with it, since we trusted each other to not make it out to be anything more than RP. I figured I'd be safe, since I'd just gotten out of a bad relationship and I definitely wasn't looking to start another one. But we quickly grew to be very close friends, and things just really evolved from there, to where they are today. I wouldn't trade what we have for anything in the world.
What is it about writing or creating artwork that made it part of your life? Both have always been very therapuetic for me. After my first few surgeries, where I had a lot of downtime, I had to do something to keep myself sane, so I typically wrote, drew, or played video games. I suppose it's fortunate that I'm pursuing a career that involves all three of those things.

Do you game? Absolutely not. I feel gaming is a waste of time and a detriment to the moral fiber of our children.
That said, I think anyone who thinks that way needs to get a life and find something more relevant to pick on. I've been gaming as long as I remember, starting out with the NES. I currently game on the PS2, GBA, and PC. My favorite game genre is RPG.
And not only do I game, but it's such a huge part of my life that about a year ago I decided I might as well just stop letting people tell me it was silly, and devote my career pursuit to it as well. So I'm currently enrolled at Westwood College for their Game Art and Design program.
Do you prison eat? (protect your food from all attacks!) Nah, I'm pretty laid back about it.

Have you ever e-hated? Comes with the territory of e-loving, I think. Like Beli though, I can count on one hand the number of times I've broken out any truly nasty language with someone. One of them was for a drama whore in EQ. It's a long story, but I've always been heavily into roleplaying, and used to play male toons because I learned quickly that anything with pixelated boobs was going to get unwanted attention. So this woman convinced herself that I was the best guy in the world, and she was going to leave her husband to be with me, etc. This was all in the spanse of maybe one day of grouping. When I realized she might be serious, I sent her a polite tell saying that I had no interest in that kind of relationship. My gender wasn't any of her business, but I would have told her as a final straw if she kept at it. But fortunately (heh) she decided to go all psychobitch about it and turn on me. She liked to tell all of my female friends (many of whom knew who I was) that I had stalked her IRL, and all other sorts of nonsense. It was pretty amusing, until another dramawhore believed her. That's about when I rerolled a female Vah Shir on another server.
Ever broken a bone? >.< Three bones. The tip of my left elbow, from being a stupid child and trying to leap over a long table. And both of the bones in my right forearm, from a car accident two years ago. Unfortunately I still suffer from chronic pain from the latter.
Have children? No.
Want children? I'm really not sure. I'll settle for pets for now.
What is your most hated pet peeve? I can't stand intolerance. I just can't. I suppose you could say I'm completely intolerant of intolerance, heh.
Tattoos or piercings? Neither. :/ My body grows like.. scar tissue from hell, so it decided to eat my piercings. And I haven't had the money or the resolve for a tat yet. But I'd like to get one when I finally move and start my new life.
What are your fears/phobias? I really don't like needles. It's not to the point where if I see one on TV I start hyperventalating, but when I know I'm going to have blood drawn, I get pretty upset. I wish I could say it was an irrational fear. >.<

Well... I'm 21 and currently living in Gainesville, Florida. I was born in Florida, raised in Lake County, and consider it my hometown. I had somewhat of an abnormal childhood, as the retina in my right eye detached when I was nine, and from then until thirteen I had a total of I believe 11 surgeries for that, appendicitis, and a broken elbow. Add one more at 19 for a broken arm. I really don't feel sorry for myself. In fact I am glad to have gone through it, as it made me the person I am today.
Currently I am working at Michael's Arts and Crafts as a bookkeeper while attending an online program for a Bachelor's in Game Art and Design. I spent a couple of years floundering in community college, rather disinterested. Then when I had decided to give up and look into an IT vocational program, I found this, and it was the only thing that truly clicked. Though I had a few stumbles through financial aid, and I'm going to be indebted for the rest of my natural life, I am very glad for making that decision when I did. I'm currently maintaining a 4.0 for the first time ever, and it's not for lack of difficulty. I know some people snicker at online school, but for the accredited programs, it's truly an intensive experience, and if I wasn't passionate about it, I know I could never do it.

What is the scariest thing you ever did in your life…the kind of ‘heart in your throat, so scared you might throw up’ kind of scary? My cousins and I used to play at my grandfather's farm when we were younger. Our parents would stay inside and do grownup stuff while we went outside, typically well past sundown. There used to be some construction going on, a couple properties over, and once the crew had left we'd go over there and climb the huge mounds of dirt and just generally be stupid. Well, one night we went over there planning to do just that, and found out we weren't alone. Thinking on it now, it was probably a drifter, and a drunk one at that. But he was sitting out there, and he was just yelling and screaming at us, I'm sure there were some threats in there, but I was already running by that point. We ran all the way back to the farm.
If you were given one wish, for anything at all you wanted, what would you wish for? To not have to worry about bills closing in, living from paycheck to paycheck. I get extremely stressed about those things, and feel overwhelmed when it comes time to pay the bills. I don't care about having a nice house or a nice car. Sure it would be neat, but all I really want is financial security.
Would you be willing to adopt an emu? Well, no. Sorry.
For those in a commited relationship - How did you meet your significant other? Online, actually. We first met while I was playing SWG with my guild. At the time, he was in an allied guild, but they broke apart after SWG began to decline, so he joined our guild for WoW. We started talking more often in January right after I had my accident. He asked me how I was doing, and told me if I ever needed anyone to talk to, he would be glad to listen. As it turns out, I really needed someone to talk to.
Both of us being roleplayers, we decided to interact with our characters, and when things turned down the relationship road for those two, we were fine with it, since we trusted each other to not make it out to be anything more than RP. I figured I'd be safe, since I'd just gotten out of a bad relationship and I definitely wasn't looking to start another one. But we quickly grew to be very close friends, and things just really evolved from there, to where they are today. I wouldn't trade what we have for anything in the world.
What is it about writing or creating artwork that made it part of your life? Both have always been very therapuetic for me. After my first few surgeries, where I had a lot of downtime, I had to do something to keep myself sane, so I typically wrote, drew, or played video games. I suppose it's fortunate that I'm pursuing a career that involves all three of those things.

Would you ever have casual sex - have you ever had casual sex? I thought about it, and almost did it. I can say I'm glad I didn't. The closest I got was 'friends with benefits', and even that wasn't really something I'd do again.

If you could give one person a gift who would you give it to and what would it be? My answer is the same as the person before me. Several years ago, my mother broke her tailbone and she's been in constant, horrible pain ever since. I'd love to be able to take that away.

I was engaged to someone else at the time so I didn’t think anything of it. 8 months later out of the blue, he called me and asked me out. We have been together for 7 years now.

Sometimes I leave the toilet seat up so that when he tries this he ends up falling it. That makes me laugh until I cry.
