WIP: Yet another one

The skin texture on him is dreamy, /purr. A few things stood out to me - he doesn't quite seem like he's sitting on the throne. I don't know if it's the lighting, but his pose seems unnatural and maybe a little too high in the chair. His torso/stomach area is twisted which I think is one reason for the unnatural looking position.

Wedge hair - I hate that hair, but it's so limited what's out there for the men. The hair itself looks plasticy and again unnatural. Have you tried Grace Lion hair? It's a little thinner but might look a lot more natural. You could fill it up with post work, but it looks like he'll be mostly in the shadows anyway so it would work.

I'd have him lean back a little more in the throne, a more comfortable position and have him looking down at the viewer. I'm assuming he's going to have a sword in his left hand, maybe bring it back so it's more parallel with him and have him grabbing the hilt, tipping it outwards, if that makes sense.

Just a few suggestions =) I want that texture though, what store did you get it at?

Okay this is what I have now. She wanted some blood on him so I made it look a litte suttle on him. And the the face hair needed to be longer and thicker.

Also wanted a shield and sword in there. The sword is not really what I was say looks battle torn or bloody like the rest of him. So I have some work to do that bad boy.

I also noticed his right hand looks like it is floating there.. =/ Damn it..

Definately getting better. The sword does look out of place, the rest of the picture is a bit gritty, but the sword is a beautiful pristine. The pose is getting better, but he still has that odd twist to his torso, and his eyes look like they're looking up & to the left (our left, his right). the hair & beard are two different colors, and looks a bit odd. He's definately Yummy though!!

Yeah I am going to work on the sword this week trying to get it less pristine looking >_> *bust out the tarnish*

Hmm the hair.. yeah .. I think I better put a lighter shade on him for the hair to match up.

And the eyes right got it I will fix that as well. Thanks hun ^_^

The sword actually looks like it's got a reflection map on it, that's pretty strong. try toning it down quite a bit, & that should help get rid of alot of that shiny-ness.

do you use Studio, or poser?
