Belated Hello, And Stuff

Hey folks!

I've lurked around this forum since coming back to SMMO last year, and just now realized I hadn't yet registered here. Damn good memory I have.

I've really enjoyed seeing the creativity that goes into your exchanges and challenges, especially this latest one. You really outdo yourselves every time, and here's hoping you keep getting even more sign-ups and perfect turn-ins!

A little bit about myself, for those who don't know me already... I'm 21, live in Gainesville, Florida but thankfully don't attend school here. I'm currently a first year student in Westwood College's online program for a Bachelor's Degree in Game Art and Design, with aspirations to work as a game designer at a small to medium development studio such as Insomniac. I work almost full-time (enough to where they don't pay me full-time or give me full-time benefits, of course) at Michael's Arts and Crafts Store as a bookkeeper, and I'm deliriously overjoyed to no longer work with the customers.

Work and school don't leave me a terrible amount of free time, but when I do have it, I enjoy art (traditional and digital freehand mostly), writing, and of course playing and making video games. I'm currently working on a Flash animation for class, running a freeform pen and paper game for the s.o. and myself, playing Golden Sun on the GBA, and working on an original game concept which I am making a demo for using RPG Maker XP. (Figured I'd cover all the categories there :P )

I still have a subscription to WoW, though I haven't played much since getting my paladin to 70. Let's see... favorite genre of games is RPGs, and a few of my favorite titles would be Final Fantasy VI, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits. I also enjoy platformers like the Sly Cooper series.

The devlog for my RMXP project, a 2 hour demo of a dark fantasy RPG concept. This one is updated fairly frequently, at least once a week.


And since I've rambled on for far too long, I'll leave it at that. ;P
