I dont know if this is legal post but...

... its all I got in the form of art. Well the type is all I got. I just cant do pc art, it flies over my head and out the door of my brain, never to be seen again, I dont understand anything about it lol. Now give me a pencil and some charcoal, and Im GTG.

Anyway, if Mae feels this needs to be removed then so be it, just didnt know where else to put it hehe. :) This seemed the most reasonable forum. :)

This pic I did in high school. It was my first Charcoal / colored pencil mix. It was also my favorite because it was very early in my art training, and I felt it very good for my stage in art, so i was proud of it at that time, so of course you feel sentimental to those things. Some of you may recognize it, its the chick off the front of the Godsmack CD lol. Cept I flipped her to make it a lil more challenging =P

The next one I did was of my baby, Blake, when he was about 6 months old. It isnt finished yet, I got busy with my baby girl when she was born, so yes, the left side of his face is a wee bit blank. =P Not too bad for being about 8 mos pregnant and too big to fit my art easle on my legs anymore lmao! I guess I picked this one because its of my baby of course, but it was of my baby that was growing up fast, and I was having another baby as well. So its just a mother thing I spose hehe.

The last one I decided to post not because it was good but for another reason. As a matter of fact its downright simple. Anyone could do it. Right before my parents divorced I was at our old house and we had sprinkled some sun flower seeds about the yard, and they had began to grow. I got to thinking about how beautiful a sun flower is, but how quickly something so beautful could go badly. It starts at the roots (as the root of any problem) then slowly eats up the plant (problem) until it reaches the beautiful flower. Eventually nothing is left but a few scattered remnants of petals, blowing in the wind. These are the things I thought about during my parents divorce, and I guess this is what came out. The flower is supposed to sort of look as if it were spinning, slowly, and the stem of course is half gone, disapated and slowing rotting away...

So those are the ones I decided to post. Hope you like them , or better yet, hope you enjoy looking at any art (no matter how good) because you like it as much as I do. :)

PS -- Im posting this without the pics then adding them on the other pc, Im on my pc and its slow as molasses, and I dont have all day to wait =P BRB with EDIT!!!

well damn this is gonna take longer than I thought. For some reason Tinypic is timing out without giving an error msg or hosting the pic for me, so Im gonna find something else to do it. BRB :)

EDIT: I give up for now. I dont know if the files are too big for places to host or what, but I cant get them uploaded. Just gonna leave the gay post without pics for now and see if I cant add them later when I have time. =/

Edit, Part 2: I got one of them, if you cant see it, cause I couldnt at first, refresh the right click the lil img icon and click view img. Helped me anyway /shrug :)

Here is Nalla's artwork she done which I think is quite nice that she emailed me to host for her.=)

Might I add, they are huge and I sized them down some, but I am a moron when it comes to a computer lol

Thanks Andrina! weee
That one did turn out big, I dont know anything about resizing either. From what I hear its really easy, but again, its why I do art by hand and not by mouse, I just dont get it lol.

:o

Thanks again Andri

Oh yes, very nice! I wish I had a scanner, would scan some photographs I have of my drawings, but I really have not done any portraits or anything in years. Having 5 hyper kids, a job and an addiction to EQ puts a dent in the creative output, lol.

Legal...why would i take this down? lol This is exactly where it should be! This is beautiful, i really love the first one. I envy anyone who can freehand draw, it totally escapes me. Bravo!

Im glad you guys liked. I havent drawn in a year or two, not commited because of the same reasons as Zaura, except when I did the pic of Betty Boop for my mother in law cause she loved Betty Boop. She passed away this Septemeber, the 16th, 2004. She was a wonderful woman, one that will be greatly missed. Anyway im rambling cause its late, but Ill get that one eventually and post it too. Its not necissarily great, but it makes me think of those I love, and that, I think, is one of the many things art should do.

/hugs guys, thanks for the nice words. What Mae said about envying anyone that can freehand art is exactly how I feel when I see all the people doing these awesome pics on their computer and I have no idea how to draw a ball in Microsoft Paint. lol.

It is easier to learn how to do what we do on the computer, than it is to draw with a pencil. I prefer the computer art, because I've never was into drawing with pencil, or charcoal etc. I will take some pics of my portfolio pieces and post up here. :)

I'm jealous, I wish I could work with other mediums, I'm just not good at it. :)
