I play EQ EZ server, and I still have an account on WoW on Twisting Nether, but I haven't logged on in a month, cuz my guild died. Been thinking about reactivating my EQ1 account, but does anybody still play on BB that I could play with?

Not many old Triads still play EQ. I do, but I was Mylec generation. Trueda and Angelito both do.

When was Mylec generation? After Krassus and the first time Triad made it into time? I left for BoR and then CoH came out and we all basically quit so my memory is fuzzy at that point...

Triad merged with another guild, I forget the name. Mylec took over after the core of krassus' crew quit and moved on to aot/age of tyranny. Aot got disbanded because we used mq and talked about it openly like idiots. Lol. I quit in...2005 I think. Triad a held on for like two more years? I forget.

We played CoH for a bit and were in the EQ2 beta, which I thought we were going to play (thanks to Kanos for the invite!) then Bruuce shared his WoW beta and that was the end of EQ!

Mylec's Triadica merged with Jenbobo's guild. I forget the name right now. For some reason I want to say Distant Thunder? But Triadica actually went on and did quite well for about a year or so. Then Mylec all of a sudden stepped down and joined AOT (That didnt last long) and Steelaoa tried picking up the pieces and it was an epic fail and Triadica went under.
Age of Tyranny was ran by Krassus, Anulien and Banbin. Mae and myself were officers at a later time. It was fun times. That guild was a huge MQ guild and we flaunted it like gangsters and didnt give a shit =p it was ultimately our downfall though because a GM disbanded us and before that we had GMs secretly reading our guild chat and we had to use secret channels and code words for MQ plugins. We had some epic wars with Empyreal too.

During my time in EQ, Macroquest was a very small project with a handful of people and was never supposed to get out to the general public. We did a few compiles for people outside the circle, but never source codes. I am curious as to who let the cat out of the bag!

ah, it was deliberately a pain in the ass and required Visual Studio to compile when I was involved and all source codes were under lock and key.
There may or may not have been secret forums on SolRoRage for that very purpose....

I had heard there were secret boards for all that stuff. Everyone had a secret board/section at one point. I liked it when it got easy to use but I had already begun to fade away at that point. And let's face it, I was a HORRIBLE cleric lol.

Gag. Gerald, dear lord whyd you bring him up?! Groups I did ok, raids...if I wasn't competing against the other clerics to spot heal quicker than Medikki, I was talking in one of the 7 chat channels I was in. Or doing a sig. Or chasing after Catherine. Lol
