Phillip "Cyberhawk" Lansberg

Like generations of Lansbergs before him, Phillip enjoyed playing lacrosse. Phillip's great grandfather had been a star of the international league, and a member of the '07 world champion lacrosse team. But Phillip doubted his great grandfather would be able to keep up with the leagues of 2057. The NSCL - National SkyCrosse League - considers Phillip one of its best players. Dubbed "The Hawk", Phillip Lansberg has won back-to-back MVP trophies for the last four years. But it wasn't enough for Phillip. Ridiculously overpaid and bristling with the perceived invincibility of a young man of 21, Phillip decided to take part in a growing trend among atheletes - cybernetics. The surgeon likened it to getting a tattoo - once you get one, you'll crave more.

But Phillip always went big. Despite the perfect condition of his right leg, he had it severed cleanly at the knee and to it was attached the newest in cybernetic technology, an aluminum-cased limb meant to be both aero-dynamic and strong enough to withstand the worst impact. Phillip's custom request? Hawk-shaped talons extended from the metal foot.

Spent a hell of a long time trying to get a dynamic pose that would fit with the little sky-shoe things, so it didn't leave much time for actual painting. Hopefully I can accomplish more next time.

Amaltia was severely injured in a house fire. Her entire upper body was burned beyond repair so she accepted the cybernetic change from human to robot. Her head and upper arms notably though she retains her mind, memories and humanity.

These are all so neat, and I love the little stories that go along with them!
