Guardians of the sky

Yeah, yeah, Lame title I know. I suck at coming up with titles.

This one took me several weeks. I got it how I wanted, then rendered it with different lights till I got exactly what I wanted. I'd get frustrated, put it away for a week, then pick it up again. Gonna call it good, unless there's anything glaringly wrong with it. CC5 Welcome/wanted for future reference. ie

Looks awesome! I might have to pick up some dragons myself now! (*cries as he realizes how much cool stuff for Poser there is and how little money he actually has*)

Wow - I don't know if it was changed, or its just the difference between my monitor at work and the one at home, but this morning the picture is much brighter, and easier for me to see. I love the visual of the planets outside the window...really nice scene

Overall it's a stunning scene, but there were a few things that stood to me. The outline of the windows has a white outline kind of, I'd go in and blend that a little. The sword metal doesn't look like metal at all - but some some of chrome or something? The black spots on it are confusing since it seems to have more glint that solid metal. The lighting from your little globes aren't casting shadows properly - you can tell by the shadows that they're not casting light at all. Also the lighting on the dragon is confusing, the tail isn't showing but the head is but the head is behind the tail...that doesn't make sense. Something to consider the next time.

The metal part of the swords aren't metal at all.. it's more of a spell effect, fire type thingie. I think I may go in & make it a little different, & add a bit of glow & a light source coming from them to make that more apparent.
I'm thinking of rendering this again actually. I'll ditch the globes, cause they've been a pain in the ass.

The lighting has given me fits. guess it's back to the drawing table with that .
