Nice one! I remember when Boffo first made that pally, looks way better in those colors than in red, and the sig is great.

Vex and I spent a good 15 mins laughing about the eye. I redid the left one but she kept telling me to do the right but when she flipped it it looked cockeyed LOL

I have just a couple of things to c/c Mae. The shadow of his hair is just a bit too...black, and looks like he is just missing that part of his head. Make sense?


You did such a great job on detailing the chain on his upper thigh/hip/crotch area, then you just left the rest of it blury. It looks...odd. And the EQ polygon line in. Yeah so fix that and you'll be gold :D

OK, trying to be serious...

The blue parts of the armor seem a bit over-saturated. I think maybe you could adjust the color and also work more on the highlights because those parts aren't looking quite as shiny as the silver. Don't use dodge though cause that'll make funny colors. Try painting on highlights with a hard, low opacity brush. Also, the bracer is looking blocky. Smudge could help it look more round.

And fix that damn eyeball! It's creepin me out!

The plate armor looks stunning. I've never mastered that look, will have to start taking notes from you :)

For some C/C, it looks like his right wrist is broken. I have no suggestions on how to fix it though, it just appears to be at an akward angle. The spell effects from the sword mask it a bit though. I agree with the comments on his hair. It looks a little thin to me, especially at the top of his head. If you cover up his face and look at just the top of his head, it appears as though a much smaller face should be peering out from underneath.

I think you did a beautiful job though, I really had to nit pick to find anything. Such vibrant colors!

I fixed the left eye, does it still look funky? Vex was trying to get me to fix it but I dinna no wanna!!! lol.

I tried smoothing out his bracer some, Ry. I remember your c/c from those warriors I did work for in triton. I thought I got all the blocky stuff off it, i'll smudge it a little more. As for his crotch area, all I did was dodge the chain, i'm going to cut off the blurry section probably.

As for the hair, is it just not full enough in the back? I lightened the drop shadow so its not so dark, but yeah I struggled with the top since I'm not great with doing the part. This is probably the best part i've done ever, the rest I've managed to cover by just cutting it off lol. You should see the part for the DE in the house of andar sig. WHEW its bad lol.

try having hair so thick your head's mistaken for a horse's ass, and you can't grow it long because you get headaches from the weight of it!

The one thing that bugs me in this piece is his sword placement. Its in the middle of his fingers and not his fist, if that makes sense.

I love how your hair has been turning out here lately Mae, but it seems a tad too long to me. Almost a tad girlish.

Yeah, but if I don't blow dry my hair and try to make it look like I have a little more it sticks to my head and I look like a cancer patient. Oh and then there's when I put it up and it parts in an odd place and it looks like I'm balding.
