What Programs Do You Use?

We've had the IRL Pic threads showing us all in various states of "no don't take my picture!", the desktop picture thread showing our messy desks, the Your View thread showing our window views...

This is another one of those disclosure dealies!

Tell us what programs you use on a day to day basis on your computer! And if you can or want, give us links on where to get them!

I use Trillian for most of my IMing needs, however my "main" yahoo account always stays on Yahoo messenger.

I use Firefox 2 for my browsing, though I use IE6 and Netscape as needed for accessing bank sites etc. I play with Safari once in a while.
Thunderbird is for mail, but I have used MailWasher as a "go between" to pull out the crap.
-I use AdBlock Plus, Download Statusbar, Favicon Picker, Firefox Companion for eBay, ForecastFox, FoxyTunes, Snaplinks, Tabmix Plus (and a couple others at home that I need to double check). My theme is Noia 2.0 extreme because it's minimalistic... I had the Midnight Launch theme but it was a resource hog.

Yahoo Widgets is installed for some of the neato toys.
-Yahoo Weather, Werewolf Monitor, Stardate, Digital Clock, Analog Clock, Sort-it, I Did Not Know That Yesterday, Wii Console Games, GamesRadar, and WiredDeals are often loaded. I lost some when I upgraded my system at work :( but I think Best of Google Earth was another. I should get that again.

I use an old version of EditPad as my text editor (even though I have Office 2000).

VNC is used for my in-home remote desktop control, but Remote Admin is for connecting to home from elsewhere.

iTunes or Media Monkey for music.

These're all I can think of at the moment, not being at my home desk :)

Firefox, trillian for msn and aim, wmp, word, and thunderbird always seem to be up. I also hop onto skype every so often. I use excel to make my mafia spreadsheets and to keep track of my budget (though I know there is better money software out there :X). I mostly use that windows media viewer to go through my pictures. I use photoshop and illustrator for art and work. I screw around with dreamweaver and flash, and right now I'm playing EQ2.

Sometimes I work from home - I use iview media pro and adobe lightroom to deal with photos, notepad to make and edit web pages, microsoft streets and trips for maps, and power point to make slide shows, in addition to my other software.

I use NOD 32 for my virus protection, Zone Alarm for a firewall (in addition to the one that comes with the router) and run adaware every so often.

Trillian, FireFox, MSExcel & Word, Lotus Notes for work and Paint Shop Pro as needed. Sometimes I log into WoW and Ventrilo or Puzzle Pirates. Google provides all my minute detail needs for things like weather or quotes of the day as well as my RSS feeds of comics and vegan blogs. hahah

i R a minimalist!
