what a nice thing to do for a friend =) CC wise.. pose looks good, composition is nice so i'm gonna focus on lighting. I would have added a few more for some depth. An orange point light or very soft spotlight to simulate the glow from her spell effect would have been good, and also I'd suggest something that would give the horse more definition and depth. Being black in a dark pic like this he comes out very flat =( A side light spilling across them would have highlighted him and his muscle structure. Also with that background I would have gone for some kind of red ambience with maybe the splashing spot(s) being green if you wanted that kind of eerie feel. I always try to incorporate 3 or 4 main lights, a combination of a distant and a couple spots as well as point light for whatever details need to pop or glow.

Agree with temp - however I friggin LOVE that outfit. I've seen a few portraits with that outfit and it is just gorgeous. :thumbsup Great job!

I love the outfit too! Some hot brownie chick with a bean growing bought it for me ;) Gonna try to make my own texture for it and see what I come up with. As for your pic, looking great hon. I don't have any further c/c to add that wasn't already mentioned :)

If I knew how to do textures I would so like to make new ones for this one. But that is on my list of things to learn how to do. But it worked for this pic. Yeah I am totally useless when it comes to lights. I use the premade ones I have otherwise there would be no light...lol. I just can't get it down. ahh well I guess I will just have to keep practice more. And what makes it worse is I am now trying to learn how to use poser....Hopefully Darsa won't get mad at me with all the questions I keep asking her.

I know its called 'Dark' Promises, but I still had to copy and paste it into PSP so I could lighten it and see it really well. Then again, I do that with about 75% of what I see here. Maybe my monitor needs to be adjusted, but if that's the case I haven't been able to figure out how :P

Don't worry Den. While I am at work a lot of the pictures are really dark for me as well. I have an old crt monitor. So most of the time I have to wait till I am at home to even look at the picture to even comment on them.
