It really all depends on my mood. I'll listen to just about anything unless it's metal (of ANY kind, well that's not true, I like a few specific songs, but I won't go into detail) and rap. I just can stand to be cussed at and have it called music. *shrug*
However my absolute favorite will always be The Dixie Chicks. I can cry to them, laugh, and relax. *nods* No one else can do it for me, like the Chicks.

Joss Stone, by far and above anything I've ever heard. She's stupendous and I've loved everything I've ever heard of hers. She's just a baby so she hasn't done much yet, but I love her voice and her soul-blues-rock vibe.
Also like Norah Jones for pure smokiness. Woman should sing jazz.
I really liked Queen Latifah's Dana Owens jazz album.
