Stephen King's The Mist

I really liked the story when I read it some time ago, and kept wishing they'd turn it into a movie. Then one of my friends was telling me about some trailer she saw at the movies for a new Stephen King adaptation. So we're supposed to see it on opening day.

This book freaked me out... my husband is EXTREMELY interested in the movie, so I imagine I'll be able to make the comparison soon. :)

Yea I saw the trailer and got all kinds of excited. Haven't read the book but I <3 Stephen King.

Forgot this was posted here, but did anyone else see it in the theaters? It always amazes me that they can make Stephen King's short stories into such long films. Then again, they do add things.

The different ending was a surprise. I like it better in a twisted way, but at the same time, it sucked. I don't think I would've done that in his position.

This gonna be a rip off of the Fog?

Not quite - it's not a ghost story but it is about creepy shit in the mist.

You really should read the story. It's worth it :)

Haven't seen the movie yet, I Am Legend is next on our list, may save this one for DVD.

I saw it several weeks back...not bad...ending was pretty...wow.

Just read the spoiler for this - wow the ending is WAY different than the book's. O_o
