Holylollers
Guess someone didn't like the paladin that I made, as I got a little email today. I responsed in kind and expect someone to notice my renamed guy, named "Forcedrename".
I find the irony in this policy and specific email a bit overwhelming. When you consider the reason that my character's name was flagged, reported, whatever in comparison to the sheer amount of tongue-in-cheek to flat out plagarizistic references within the game of WoW I'm surprised that someone could, in any serious capacity, enforce said standards. I also find it interesting that a character that was made at least 8 months ago and played with regularity for the past two weeks was allowed to even get to the point and level without notice and some sort of prior contact.
In future I shall make every endeavor to adhere to the “do as I say, not do as I do”, policy and make sure to join such role-playing luminary guilds such as “Dudes Wheres My Imp”, or “Kinkeh pink Kollar”, “Respawns Happen” or even watch errrr….join “Usual Suspects”. So I’m thankful that such selective renaming standards have been applied and look forward to such illuminating conversions with people like “JLFJDFKLD” or “IOERREROL” about the low prices that they offer for the time put forward to “give” me gold. Again, thank you and have a good day.[

hi "loltotemspam" .. i've seen a billion others but loltotemspam sticks out
pigvomit, captancrunch, cowtipperdan ... so many

I had the same thing going on in EQ, I made a human female monk and named her Brothel. I got to level 40ish before someone reported me with the last name Haus. Guess someone finally got the non too subtle stab at humor.

Well then, I guess in that circumstance, I would like to address the issue of the guilds as mentioned below “Dudes Wheres My Impâ€Â, or “Kinkeh pink Kollarâ€Â, “Respawns Happen†and add in the guild Soylent Green. While I agree that Respawns do indeed Happen I don't really need to be patronized by such a visual reminder, nor do I believe the Dude Wheres My Imp was a particularly good movie or that Soylent Green holds to the test of time. And Kinkeh pink Kollar? I mean really, they aren't even really trying.....

'Oh really?'
'Yeah, I posted it.'
Time passes.
'...BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...ouch, damn foot in the ribs...BUAHAHAHAHAHA'
When the meaning of Di`Yab became known, every last one of them lost the surname in record time.
Dick In Your Ass, Bitch!
The head GM at the time was a fun guy, and as far as I know never really punished anyone for it.
I'd much rather they work on removing Chuck Norris from the chat every evening or atleast getting the Trade channel to stop rivaling the Barrens chat than go on some name censorship binge.
Then again there are 62 characters over the level of 10... according to the armory that all have the name:
/drumrollplz
"Pwn"
