They showed a batman trailer during the Legend previews - I hadn't even heard that Heath Ledger was going to be the Joker and honestly I think he's going to be outstanding. One - you can barely recognize him even though you think, 'wait - isn't that the brokeback mountain guy?'. :teehee I have high standards for trailers though and the one they previewed was waaaay too long but it does look like this is going to kick much ass.

I'm so FUCKING TIRED of all these fucktards trying to compair Jacks joker to this one?! The whole series is in a completely different ball field.. how can these re-re's even think or compairing the two? /boggles

But the movie looks bad ass~!! I can't fucking wait.. i been btching about it for months now lol Its got my main man in it , Gary, so everyone already knows I'ma be all up in that bitch =P lol /cries .. is it out yet! huh huh huh

On another note I would totally LOVE to see lil ms Harely Quinn in a batman movie so bad =( Why all the HQ hate /cry

Im a huge Christian Bale fan and I bet Heath is spot on for this role as well. Its nice to see guys with actual talent get roles.

The 3rd gave me goosebumps. Everyone knows I'm a big HL fan (RIP :() but damn he sounds good and just .. wow .. I want to cry when i see it tho ....

There is also hints to other characters in the plot *squueeee~!!* OMFG I can't wait! *bounces*

Without giving anything away, this is an epic film (and trust me: based on the sheer size and scope of the visuals and storytelling, that's not an overstatement). It's the "Godfather II" of comic book films and three times more earnest than "Batman Begins" (and fuck, was that an earnest film). Easily the most adult comic book film ever made. Heath Ledger didn't so much give a performance as he disappeared completely into the role; I know I'm not the first to suggest this, but he'll likely get at least an Oscar nod (if not the win) for Best Supporting Actor. Fucking flick's nearly three hours long and only leaves you wanting more (in a great way). I can't imagine anyone being disappointed by it. Nolan and crew have created something close to a masterpiece.

Finally, the franchise is redeeming itself after tripe with James Carey, George Clooney and Arnold. All decent actors but holy fuck batman!

I cannot wait.

I'm drooling here Trying to wait for it to cme out over here .. such a ruff wait hehe the earliest showing here is the 23rd at 7 in friggin cambrige! >( ... I'll prolly go of course .. sigh *waits.......
The trailers are completely humpworthy and I got to agree so far what I have seen of Heath's Joker looks .. wow .. completely dark and twisted. The laugh alone gives me goose bumps everytime I hear it and a tear as well :(

Wow.

I'm not even a comic fan and I *LOVED* it. Heath Ledger did NOT disappoint, with the one exception being that he'll never have the opportunity to do it again. :(

Wow.

Not to mention while waiting for the movie I have discovered two TV shows that I'm interested in watching, and normally I just don't watch TV, with the sole exception being CSI. The Closer and The Cleaner (heh) are two shows I plan to try out this fall! :D

Good flick. Heath Ledger was awesome, and will be difficult, or next to impossible for anyone else to follow. Too bad too...it would have been nice to have seen more of his character.

I liked all the other characters too...and think it was too bad Maggie Gyllenhaal didn't play her character in the first movie as well...she did such a better job than Katie Holmes. Oh well.

Not being a comic person either, I appreciated how the issue of Two Face was explained.

Out of four stars I give it three and a half...it was about 15 minutes too long for me, and some of the action sequences seemed a little confusing.

The husband went and saw it in the theater, wouldnt stop talking about it and i was in Ohio at the time (we live in wv now) so i watched it on the net and even with it not being the same as being in a theater and a lot of the scenes being dark and harder to see on a comp it was freaking great. I hope they dont just make it about Heath Ledgers death and thats why he's getting all the acclaim about it because dead or alive he was better than can be described with words. Great movie, I'll probably go the theater this weekend and see it to get the full effect.

lol only seen one bad review as well but it wasn't really even a bad review just a personal opinion on selective parts and the name , lol I see it in 14.5 hours o.O
