No I'm not digging that. Got some good c/c from Vex.

hmmm...I think you could try taking out the skeleton hand, moving the char more to the center, decreasing the size size, and maybe use like a deep red or burnt orange as a background color rather than black. I'm not diggin the white outer glow on the letters too much. Maybe a different color. The fire effect is :thumbsup

HAHA sorry, k uploaded new sig without text.

The toon looks awesome! I like the pose and camera angle and cropping. It might be my monitor, but I think the weapon looks a little bit washed out, too white. Maybe up the contrast and play with curves to make it look more metallic?

I like the bloody bones font but am less sure of the hand in the bg. The bloody font makes me think of basic raw violence, but the hand makes me think of undead and I dunno if that’s fitting for a monk. The font feels more…present to me than the hand, more violent and urgent, and I dig that theme. The quote serves it well, too. I know this is probably cliché, but I was thinking maybe instead of the hand, some claw marks might serve that area well. Something with a lot of movement and intensity, and then the fearsome monk lurking partly in shadow with his weapon gleaming and a smug look on his face.

Typography comes off as psychadelic. Is that what Votek wants?

Something disease/poison...ish. He hasn't seen it yet though.

I'd say take off the red outer glow on the text and make the headshot on the left more transparent. The text kinda hides your cool fire effect. =/

Client likes it as is, gonna call it done. I did look at your suggestions, ry and i liked it that way too. It turned out to be a neat looking effect at least. =) Thanks all.
