A woodie! (UPDATED in bottom post!)

Wow that is hot, what armor is that? I love it, his face looks very elfish, too. The narrow almost feminine look. Dang I can't get over that armor.

Only c/c would be the armor lighting seems very dark, but then his armor color is dark. Maybe some striking highlights...but wow. I love it. What is that armor??!!

LOL The armor is the M3 Fantasy Armor with the Knights Extraordinaire texture. Both are from RDNA. I darkened up the red texture a bit to get close to the color that Kilz had his armor when I first joined Awakened. I've always thought that was such a gorgeous color. Unfortunately, since then he's changed it to sage green and now black and blue. I told him one of these days I was going to actually make him black and blue IRL if he didn't change it back! The only response I ever get is "promises, promises." Damn males!

The armor and sword look really great. The character texture is kinda buggin me though. Did you use the Bishonen set? I think his ears could be pointier and maybe his nose less pointy. The skin is lookin a bit plastic though. Can you add a high res texture?

i had concerns about the face texture being rather plastic-y as well.

I really like what you did with the text. I keep meaning to try that technique myself!

My only c/c is he's one hawt guy in some funky armour...with a mullet ;)

I'll see what I can do with the bump strength to get the plastic look off him. That is a high res texture on him :( I may have to tweak the lighting around some more.

Gil, the text was the easy part (actually a mistake the first time I did it LOL). Make 2 copies of the text layers, apply motion blur 100% at a 45 degree angle on the middle layer, then motion blur 100% at a 225 degree angle on the bottom layer. Inner bevel and drop shadow on the top layer :)

And yes, he has a mullet :P One of these days I'll get the elven hair model so my male elves don't all have mullets hehe

hmmm...well, the skin is looking less plasticy, but I kinda liked the warm tones in the first version. Sorry, I'm picky... :shock:
