ooo i like the storybook ideas :D

The twisted fairy tale idea is a good one. To me, just doing a "storybook" theme would be pretty close to the last theme -- being something from a book, at least. But adding a twist of some kind could make it pretty interesting.

Wouldn't have to be twisted in the deranged sense (though it could be). Could be anything that puts a spin on something, turns it on its head somehow. Take a hero and show their bad side, or take a villain and show their good side. Take a comic scene and show it in a tragic light, or vice versa. Take something wholesome and make it depraved, or vise versa. I dunno, I'm just spouting off the top of my head. Just anything that takes something that seems familiar and turns it around somehow.

I've been in a major funk lately, so a TAC event could be just what the doctor ordered to get me back on the horse again. I wouldn't have the bandwidth to run anything myself, but I'd be glad to contribute what I could in terms of promo materials (if anyone thinks my meager skills would be up to the task).

I love fairy tales, I've read everything Grimm as well as several collections of tales from all around the world. I'd be totally into something like this.

You know, I wonder if there's a fractured fairy tale generator out there - something that takes elements of various tales and scrambles them up and then spits them out in odd orders.

Oooh that would be cool. Little Red Riding Hood in Sleepy Hollow or something equally nuts. FUN!

Twisted fairytales is right up my alley -) you know that already ,.. with my favorite being alice of course lol Sounds like a bit of fun really. Would be cool to do other peoles other then my own all the time lol

If you wanted to run this with a your choice of a co-mod, you'd definitely get Staff support in advertising, setting up the posts, Mod power - the whole nine. Could combine it with LacyAnn's idea of going even further, writing your own dark, mystical fairy tale - ramping it up a notch? Did you two want to run it together...whatever you decide, if you want to mod this, let me know =)

As I mentioned to Roz.. Im too afraid of screwing something up to run anything, but Ill gladly offer any kind of help needed to run this (or any other) event :hug

I can definatly help in some way maybe make up some images for promo use and promo it. My great grandma lives with us and she isn't doing so well lately, her arthritis is acting up bad.. she can hardly walk or use her right arm. Otherwise I would offer to do more. Let me know what you'd like me to do guys :D
