A question to the members - the next art event

I voted trade because I feel like we're more likely to get people making art if we do it for each other. If we do our own characters there's less motivation to get something done in a timely manner. Also, traditionally when we've done exchanges, people who wanted to have made themselves something to 'wear' during signups/exchange times, then take their gifty on swap day anyway, and I don't know why we couldn't do that again.

Im always the most challenged doing something for others.. particularily other artists.. I love it

I dont need an excuse to make something for myself, but to do something for someone else is my favorite.

I've voted for a trade, it's more like an event together instead of massively posting your own ideas at the same time (if you get what i mean)

Also, a trade is more community-spirited!

i agree with all of the above, i think that is cooler to do something for someone and get something in return as well (speaking of art lol)

I also voted Trade. For me, there's a whole different mindset when doing a piece for someone else. I think I take it more seriously, work at it harder. That doesn't make it less fun, just more challenging.

So it looks like trade has won. The final write up for our next event is finished and waiting staff approval. Hang on to yer hats!!!
