Hiya!

I always hate writing these intro posts because they come across as awkward and I'm never sure what to say. I found this place because I asked Eve some questions on Devart and she told me about it.

I'm 28, a widow, living in Ohio. I play EQ2 on the AB server and sometimes play with a friend in EQ1 on Fennin Ro. I'm a roleplayer primarily and in EQ2 I help herd a guild with darker themes. My university degree is in art, primarily drawing and then photography. Right now I'm working in Daz Studio and learning. I hate lighting :-) I've been working in it for about 4 months now and enjoy it a great deal. I haven't quite figured out how to make my renders look like those of the greats, but I love to look at them. I'm hoping that I can learn here. I spent some time looking through the criticism on other's pieces and those are the knds of things I'm needing to here. When I show things off I get the 'sexy' or 'OMG that's nice' or 'Wow Hun make me one' and while that's nice to hear, it is beginning to get old and a little frustrating. I miss the awkwardness of critiques from college. Where everyone would stand about and stare at each other and then one person would hesistantly point something out and then others would and then you got the information you needed to make a piece go from simply good to exceptional because 12 other eyes had looked at it.
