think the file route is just program files > poser > runtime hun.. so maybe just unzip her from Daz and into that folder?
Thats how poser 6 is anyway, I havent gotten 7 yet.
Poser 7
Don't laugh... And talk really simple for me lol
I'm trying to use Poser 7, which I've had for like...well over a year but never was able to suss it out. It's also erm...not an original copy, so no instructions with it.
Anyway, how the hell do I load the files from DAZ into it? Like, I want to use V4 but I still have nfc how to install her into Poser if that makes any sense at all.
Can someone tell me an idiot proof step by step thing to be able to use V4 in Poser please lol.

install it to poser the same way you would daz but don't use the _DS.exe files.
daz stole poser's "runtime" setup ( separate from their "content/people/blahblah" shit )
so just unzip to your poser 7 folder and it should be placed in the characters/pose/etc library ( far right side of poser window )

Good grief this program is so complicated! Did finally find V4, thanks :) Even got Jaydn textures to work $$ And then I managed to zoom right in to her nostrils and couldn't zoom back out /sigh. This is gonna take a long while me thinks...

You actually can just link the content folder from the DS application instead of having to reinstall it all. I have a purchased legal copy of Poser7, but it and my macbook don't really get along too well. That and I'm used to DS's way of doing things and prefer it. The only thing I'm really missing is the material room I think, and some of the lights and shaders. I figure one weekend i'll take some time and play with it. I imagine when I make the switch I won't go back.
The one thing I would like to know is, is there any way to take a DS saved scene into poser?

you cant open a daz SCENE in poser. at least not without some type of converter plugin, which i don't know if it exists or not.

You can import scenes from Poser into Daz, but not from Daz to Poser unfortunately =(

Well
For all that I'm having a bitch of a time working this out, the Aery Soul stuff that I had trouble with in DAZ works beautifully in Poser! lol. Finally using Charmed Mist among other things.
