OK so this is like over a month old but I had not seen this before.

Page 4 of that thread, Daz president posts some untextured WIPs of M4. Wow. I am loving the face and that rippling body so far. The key will be how he's rigged and if he has the same joint problems of V4. I'm really curious now.

Pl... soon as in soon to normal people or Daz soon? Because it was supposedly "while it's still warm in Utah" which could be now until Thanksgiving I read. So... *shrug*

I imagine this is as much as theyll say about any time frame.. Id guess in the next 6-8 weeks.. ? Im not sure how long it takes to make items.. hopefully they refit some of m3's stuff to go on m4.. *crosses fingers*
As Kevin said, M4 is currently being tested by the PA's and addressing what we hope to be final issues with rigging etc. Baring any other unforeseen issues we hope to have him final in the next few weeks (fingers crossed). That means that he will be with the published artists for a period of time (I'm not going to be specific here) so they can develop supporting products for him before we release publicly.

Granted, he is a beautiful specimen...and I hope he does get released soon as with what little I've worked with M3, I hate it, and can't even begin to imagine how much post work is needed to make him actually look GOOD.
I'm thinking it'll probably be longer since what I've read was that he's still in the beta phase, and they also want to have several options for him immediately upon release. Which would mean that they would want to hold off on releasing him until all the other stuff comes out. 6-8 weeks? I imagine probably 8-12 weeks is more realistic...probably ending on the high side of that.
