I'm going in a race!

This weekend I am entering the Sydney Running Festival Fun Run. It is 9km starting at North Sydney, go across the Harbour Bridge, round the harbour foreshore and finish at the Opera House.

I am fundraising as I run, the charity I chose to be aligned with is the Cancer Council, as I have lost both family and friends to various forms of this insidious disease. Wish me luck for the big day, it will be the furthest I have run since school, and certainly the first timed race I have been in. I have to wear a little timing chip and everything. I will post ghastly pics of me after. I will be the bright red beetroot headed chick who is about to pass out. But I will have done it!
