I heard it had a poor showing for its premiere. Personally I can't stand the series, but Vex gets on me about it not being one of those series you can pop in and out for - still, I can't get passed the horrible acting. =x

i think the downfall of heroes is that there is too much going on for a 30-40min episode every week.

the only character who i really like, and have an attachment to, is sylar. not really cause he's evil or whatever, but just because he's not furrowed-brow every fuckin season pouting pissed upset about the world ending.

1- from what I can tell, the reason Sylar was not using his powers was because of his son. It was only after his son was killed that he went back to the good ol sylar we all know and love

1b -Hiro has stated he will never go back in time and change things because last time he did he fucked up real good.

1c - Sylar stated that Claire was completely different than everyone else. I doubt he has the exact same amount of unkillable power that Claire does.

2 - i can agree with it.

3 - Mohinder wanted powers badly, when it came down to tossing it in the ocean or injecting himself, temptation was too much, who cares where he did it ><

AFAIK Parkman is not in africa. He's trapped in his own mind, courtesy of his dad's power that Peter has taken.

4 - Whole-heartedly agree. Monday after Monday the BF and I feel a little unsatisfied with our commercial-laden 30-40min showing of getting nothing done.

5 - They did state who saved Sylar. they directly said as much. Parkman's wife left him. Peter's girlfriend.. died right? lol

6 - they should cut down on extra characters. I'm still waiting to see what happened to miss new orleans. the girl that could learn anything by watching it? She fell off the planet.

7 - retarded too. the strongest unkillable hero IS a female. this writer much watch with her eyes closed i guess.

8 - they did explore it, but with mohinder, which this writer complained about earlier. so far, monica has not even been in season 3.

9 - agreed. as i mentioned earlier. everyone is always pissed afraid scared or angry - except Sylar lol

10 - Im indifferent.

I could really discuss this show for hours, and I have, several times. But i think to make it last they do need to bring some satisfaction more frequently than the end of the season. It gets hard to sit thru an hour of it every weekend when I know half of its going to be commercials and the other half is going to be a big tease.

it sounds alot like a soap opera, where everything is leading up to something that may or may not happen in the end due to something else that may or may not come up later on to interfere.. hehe

I watched the first season and enjoyed it bunches, but havent been interested enough to go back to it.. didnt care much for the split season thing..

One of my problems with the latest episode was Peter attacking his mom. As far as I know, she doesn't have a healing ability, and I don't think Sylar/Gabriel/whoever he ends up as has taken the ability to heal others.

Soooo... the psychokinetic technique that Sylar used to steal abilities and Peter apparently learned from him... as far as has been made apparent, it cuts straight through both flesh and bone to uncover the brain in a single pass, right? Peter just sawed a slit in his mom's forehead, all the way to the cranial cavity. After getting stopped by a psychokinetic slam into the ballistic glass window, he's out cold and she... gets up. Sure, she's freaked out, but there's a fucking hole in her head. Shouldn't they be rushing her some medical attention? Nah.

^ well we assume he cuts straight thru skin and bone to get to brain, but we haven't ever actually seen the entire process so thats an assumption.

Was anyone else bothered at all by Hiro stabbing Ando? My bf and I were sure it was just some kind of trick Hiro was pulling and so we sat calmly through it. Then when it went unexplained and Ando fell to the floor we stared at eachother in horror and (as always happens with this freakin show) ended up yelling at the tv screen. What the crap was up with that?!

ditto Csmalls. i thought that was entirely too rushed or something. no explanation whatsoever. not a secret "its ok ando. i save you!"

As I've been saying for lots of episodes now... "Poor Ando!" No wonder future Ando wants to kick his ass!!
